The point I have been making is that people are so pointlessly horrible
Like when Alex decided to jump on the 'let's all pick on Sara' bandwagon you mean?

Just because we don't share your views on Alex we aren't awful...these people put themselves up to be judged. It's unrealistic of you to expect people to only say nice things about acts, especially about one that is generally disliked by people on this board. IMHO, no one has stepped out of line on this one.

I see no evidence of that, with all respect.

He's a snide and a snake.

Simple as really. Always passing the buck. Always trying to slither out of any blame, he did it tonight. He was lucky the rest of his team were even crapper! Alan will deal with him another time.
How did he "pass the buck"? He was totally right in what he said. Claire was lying through her teeth. By the time it came to barter for the rug, they had decided to drop the double act after it didn't work the first time, yet Claire just couldn't shut up and scuppered any chances of getting the item for a good price.

Fair enough, he did retreat from being second in command but you can't blame him for trying to look out for himself.
More often than not over the several series of TA, when the team leader hasn't been sacked, the second in command has been sacked. Bearing this in mind, would you want to be second in command to someone who in the preceding weeks had shown that he didn't know his @r$e from his elbow?

I reckon Sir Alan knows he can be good (like in the first show) and he will make him project manager next week to (hopefully) prove that.
Lets hope he can prove himself next week then
Hmmmmm...................... I'm saying nothing on that subject

He LOST his one time at PM and hasn't done much since.
Yes, the task was lost thanks to the "efforts" of clueless Nick, wimps Michael and Kevin who would accept £20 for beluga caviar, and the incomprehensibly popular oil slick that is Raef. Raef really should have gone that week but SAS and the producers knew that he would make better telly than Nick in a weird Chris Eubank-like way.

Also, you are confusing Fab with Weasle , a common mistake
A mistake that seems to be being made by a lot of people when it comes to Raef.

Alex was at his best in the laundry task – he was worked too hard by Simon to get up to any scheming and Raef was very focussed as PM.
The laundry task was won by Alex, Simon and Lee.

Raef was very focussed as PM - focussed on where the next bar and coffee shop was. Lazy as well as false.

Its hard to belive anyone could see alex as a fab buisnessman and you haven't really ben able to give any examples properly

[b]c{/B]alling me jeloudoesnt really count

clearly Alex is not a fab buisnessman
If you're going to criticise someone for something they didn't even do (i.e. write in textspeak), then continue to try to undermine their opinions and insinuate that they are immature, at least spell correctly and try to avoid unnecessary typos.

In the unseen section on the official site there's a clip where one of the market traders who clearly didn't like his attitude told him to shut-up.
Rudeness to which I thought Alex reacted with great restraint, courtesy and professionalism. More than I could imagine some of the others doing, particularly loose canon Lee and nouveau snob Raef, and more than I would have.

Raef making it obvious that not only did the tanning factory smell but he continued to make the same gestures when he was talking to the tanners was the rudest thing in the series so far.

Does anyone actually agree with me?
I agree with you and I actually find that the Alex-bashers are getting increasingly tedious.

he's definitely not the most unimpressive one there.

I like him - there I said it - and I mean it!

although sex-wise he's gone off the boil slightly for me - having said that I'd still "do " him!!!!

Now... level headed. Yes, I can see how that could be applied to Alex. (No sarcastic comments - I'm actually being serious ).

He certainly does seem to "keep his head while those around him are losing theirs" MISQUOTE.

This calculated coolness could yet see him go a long way in this competition. However, IMO he needs to show a lot more yet. (Again - no unnecessary comments please ). He's shown he can back away from trouble and talk his way out of it. There have also been occasional flashes (stop it!) of practicality and hard work but these have been too few and far between. If he can show a positive contribution as a team member during future tasks and win one as a team leader, he could yet surprise. Unless he drops a complete b*ll*ck in the next couple of weeks, I'd say that there were others before him in the line of fire, so he may have time on his side.

And, if anyone's interested (you're not, I know but I'll tell you anyway), I don't fancy him.
Although I did have a rather disturbing dream about him last night.
Having said that, I had a few disturbing dreams last night - I think I may have eaten something that disagreed with me (ooer missus!)

Well quite frankly, if you want to whore the media the way No-ass Alex is doing then you get what you deserve.

Oh noes! the old you made typos and spelling erros maneuver well played captian cliché !

I don't remember accusing anyone of using txt speak, maybe you got confused when I paraphrased the posts to indicate what I thought the Op really meant when bigging up Alex's fabness. Cleverly referencing the well known lolspeak or txt speak meme to emphasise my suspicion that the OP's appreciation of Alex is shall we say....less than buisness related. arf arf

I've enjoyed explaining this to you.

You'd have to be a bit slow on the uptake to think otherwise, which I'm sure you are not

the Alex-bashers are getting increasingly tedious.
Well at least your not bitter, everyone likes different people for different reasons, far from being tedious its what makes discission forums fun.

Aren't you enjoying yourself on the internets?

He's certainly taken on the role of pursing his lips and moving his mouth to one side of his face or the other as if he's trying to kiss somebody through his earhole now that Jenny Maguire's gone. If them two ever got together it would be like a spaghetti eating contest without the spaghetti. And judging by his recent performances I think he'll be joining her in the sacked list sooner rather than later.
