I want a Karaoke DVD Player!

I already have two DVD Players (if you count the PlayStation 2!), one of which is a very nice, professionally modified (for region selection) Panasonic; BUT neither has microphone inputs for Karaoke VCDs\DVDs! Sad I know but it is for a party. I have seen the Mico A980s mentioned but cannot find it to buy anywhere. Does anyone know where to buy that player or preferably know of other players which have Karaoke microphone inputs.... Thanks for your help all!

In last months, DVD Review magazine there was an IMPORT Aiwa XD-DV170 which has karaoke functions and two mike sockets. However, the big problem with it is it doesn't have a scart socket and the output options are restricted to composite video or s-video. This is supplied by Laser Vision at £249.99. The mag also suggests the Digitron DVS-360 which is supposed to be a similar price and similar specs but it doesn't say if it has karaoke.

Thanks Wicket - close but no cigar! I need a SCART socket with RGB output - my TV does have SVHS but only on the front so not very good for regular use! Any other suggestions?

My SMC 530 from Maplin has two microphone sockets with individual volume control and echo ! It also has scart.

I am not sure of the cost as it was a pressie.

Hope this helps.

I have the MICO A980 and some Kareoke disks. It is pretty good but I don't seem to be able to turn the mic volume up as high as you would like. (this is probably not a bad thing, my bird likes singing spice girls when drunk).

I bought the DVD player from http://www.unbeatable.co.uk in october and I believe that they are the only UK stockists. I'm not sure whether it has been discontinued or not though.

Thanks Hewitt - I checked them already but they have not had it in stock for a while now!
