Must only be a few votes casted, because it's suddenly changed in EE's favour. 51%-49%

Ahem, the British media have a blatant favourism of Corrie and sometimes distort the truth take this article peak audiences of Corrie are used with EE averages with no consideration given to the bigger picture of repeats, iPlayer etc.

Of course there is. The media have been biased against Eastenders since 2004 when it went through a bad patch. They milked it for all it was worth and even now at times they still quote thier old figures to back thier argument.

Is that why certain publications ALWAYS slag off EastEnders no matter what they do? Anybody can see certain publications have a biased approach and that's why they're against EastEnders. It's obvious. Of course there's a bias. Are you suggesting bias in the media world doesn't exist? Cos' you'd be very wrong if you are. That would be a ridiculous and absurd claim to make. The fact they try to make out Corrie is still brilliant when it hasn't been for two years further backs this up. But it's not really an EastEnders thing, it's just with it being the BBC's biggest show, it cops for the stick in those publications which have a clear agenda against the BBC.
Recently they did a series of special pull outs about EE soap families. Why not families from other soaps like the Barlows, The Platt's or The Dingles?

These polls are a bit ridiculous and pointless in my opinion.
Also it proves one theory, that there are more followers of EE than Corrie on this site. |

OK, how do you explain Inside Soap then? Which is blatantly biased towards Eastenders. How often do the other soaps get put on the front cover? Why is it that Eastenders comes first always, even in the week preview section which would be in alphabetical order if Eastenders was not before Corrie?

Inside Soap is a magazine covering soap storylines. They might be have more EE coverage but that's because EE sells more. They are a business and have to shift the most copies they can. We were talking about publications that are biased against EastEnders, IS isn't really biased against any soap. It just has more EE covers for the reason I gave.

I can understand the covers, but why the biased content inside the magazine? IS might not be biased AGAINST Eastenders, but it is biased in FAVOUR of it.
EDIT: Also IS is not the only one almost every TV Guide put EE on the front cover. |
