Anyone know where I can get an extremely **CHEAP** laserdisc player? I mean cheap in price NOT quality - got hold of a v.large collection of discs, but NO player.

there is a mixed DVD/LD combo from Pioneer which is excellent, my mate has the previous incarnation, the DL-909 (current is Pioneer DVL-919) - maybe a higher price than you're looking to pay but an excellent box and one box does the two formats. It plays both sides of the LD but won't do that with a flipper DVD (but movies which come like this are bin-material)

PS: there are two advertised in the classifieds in this months Home Cinema Choice magazine but since I don't know these people and I guess it is against posting rules, I will leave you to get down your local WH Smith and buy the magazine.
