Have a look at the reviews done by "What TV and Video"
This month's edition has, going from memory, a review on the Proline DVD amongst other more expensive ones.

Top notch for £130, its got a few annoying traits but nowt that will put you off. Top buy and its multiregion and it plays RCE disks.

What are the problems with this dvd player ?

I ask as Im going to get a player soon, and the feature of playing region 1, 2 and RCE sounds good.

Try richer sounds website DVD for under £100. A friend bought a minato from Tesco and is well pleased.

just that the subtitles seem to appear without you turning them on. Still it got 8/10 in What TV&Video so it can't be bad???

I brought a player from WH Smith the other day. It's called 'Cyber Home' and for £129.95 I'm really impressed with it so far
