Absolutely not. Don't buy one, or its siblings. The LNB loop through is a joke - it doesn't work properly - and it will not pass RGB through from the second Scart. The "Now/Next" information is weird needing you to go to the EPG first to update it. (This just might be Freesat thing on all boxes though).
I already own one James. Overall I'm pretty happy with its operation except for a few quirks which you've mentioned. I'm hoping that these will be updated through a software update in the near future as the service starts to find its feet. The EPG propogation is now full for all the channels instead of displaying "No available information" for a large number of the programs only a few days ago so at least it's going in the right direction

No time in the near future - Channel 4 are in an agreement with Sky at the moment and won't disclose when it's due to finish.

Does anybody know when the channel 5 channels will be available on Freesat FTA?

The Freesat website says nothing on the subject and the channel 5 website only tells you that they are on Freesat from Sky (FTV) which isn't the same thing.

Freesat say that Five will be on Freesat "later in 2008". They say it here

http://www.freesat.co.uk/index.php?p...Question&id=38

I dont know how they are going to find room on Astra 2D so that it can go FTA but they have said they will. They have also been quoted as saying that they cannot get Fiver or Five US on Freesat due to lack of space on 2D.

And by the way, according to a post in this thread ...

http://www.zettavolt.co.uk/jforum/posts/list/15/26.page

... Freesat have also now said that ITV2+1, Film Four+1, E4+1 and More4+1, Zone Horror and Zone Reality, Kix, BET, Capital Radio, Virgin Radio and XFM will join Freesat. I dont think they have said when.

All these channels you mention here are already on freesat just not added on the freesat EPG so anyone with freesat boxes will get them at the end of the month for boxes that currently don't have manual scan.

Humax owners will already have access to them if required.

I already have access to them of course as i use a PC card.

I also already have them because I have FreesatFromSky but the only one I ever looked at is Zone Horror. All the same "join freesat" means "join the PBS Freesat EPG" in the terminology I am sticking to.

I dont think anyone said these channels would be in the EPG "at end of month" They might not join until later this year if I read that correctly.

Yes i'm sure when they say added to freesat they do mean the EPG.

I've never watched anything on the 5 Zone channels yet. Everytime i've look at them it's been trash on.

Looking at that list I see that most CSC media channels are there except 1... Anime Central!

Why have they missed that out?

At long last, my BBC region has been included. Just need Channel Five, and Freesat may just become my digital TV provider of first choice

How does the Freesat box know what region you are in? With Sky obviously the card was matched to my postcode & I got the correct regions on 101, 102 & 103 (BBC 1 South, BBC 2 England & ITV 1 Meridian South), so how does this work with Freesat? Or do you manually tune in your region?

Thanks
