Ideal Extra moved from 817 to 810

Confirms what grahamlthompson has. That has to be the shortest stay on an EPG number ever.

Hi GC it looks like they made a cock up early on. See above post, no 817 on my epg, scan about 20 min ago. Going to check if another pops up.

No rescan prompt after a re-boot.

No rescan prompt after a re-boot.
I tried a reboot before my last post Graham no rescan offered.
Tried again just before posting this message offered a rescan pressed ok to enable screen flicked to the freesat tune page and then went blank and then returned to normal video output. Rebooted once more and it failed to offer the rescan again. Tried once more and third time lucky and Ideal Extra appears on 810.

I had to reboot my foxsat HD box three times this morning just to get it to rescan. Something definitately amiss with the retune from freesat HQ.

I hope it goes more smoothly than today.. It's just taken 5 reboots on my hd box to get it to trigger the rescan for Ideal Extra. My Panny Tv was already sorted when I turned that on.

I was lucky my box has been on since early this morning, so I only turned it off to catch the retune late on in the day so missed the shenanikins . I take it 817 disappeared on the final scan

Am I right in thinking that you don't have the luxury of being able to delete channels you don't want with Sky?

After receiving three separate scan prompts during the day to get the changes done it looks like they gave the task to someone on job experience!

You really should put Renault TV back on, it's better quality programming than ITV a lot of the time.

Can anyone please tell me how to stop my Humax-HD Receiver automatically retuning to search for new channels.
I often use it to record on to my Panasonic DVD-HDD recorder and it fails because it finds new channels, retunes, and resets to BBC1, it failed again last night so I missed my recording, I have asked Humax to make the default "No" instead of "Yes" when the Add Channels window pops up but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

My Bush HD box hasn't picked these channels up automatic yet. Looks like a reset like the last time we had new channels.

It's actually the nearest we have on Freesat to a documentary channel!

Luxury <=> Sky
What do you think.
It's all about cross-selling, up-selling, re-selling - you name it, Sky are on to it. It's a complete pain in the ar$é, more particularly at the inflated prices they charge in Southern Ireland.

I would love to see what Flyer 10 has in his EPG. I bet it's just BBC and ITV HD.

All the BBC (including the other countries variations for sports) except BET. All the ITV, 4 and 5 channels, the movie, news and CBS channels.

No god, slapper, +1, kids, lifestyle or shopping channels.

Its crap free, well apart from ITV.
