Thank you both for your replies.

Do we know how accurate the postcodes are though? As a lot of people with Sky get different regions to what they receive on terrestrial TV? Are the postcodes set exactly the same as the Sky database?

Thanks

The beauty of it is that it doesn't matter, unlike Sky. If you don't get the region which you want then enter a different post code.

Oh that's good then, so you can actually choose what regional defaults you want, that's much better than SKY where I know many people have been frustrated at being given the wrong regions & have had to lump it!

How very petty . Why can't you choose to listen to a London radio station if you don't live in the London region.

Freesat is getting a bit too Nannyish for my taste .

This is a sports rights issue. BBC London has rights to some football games for broadcast only within the London area. It is nothing to do with Freesat. It is the same with the Sky version of the same channel on 0152. If you do not have a Sky card registered in the ITV London area then 0152 does not appear in the EPG. In the case of Freesat this issue was forgotten until recently and was rectified. Of course it doesn't stop you using the Add Channels or Manual Tune facility to find the broadcast, so it's really a waste of time, and is just to appease the FA.

mitsubishi who seems to be able to check for freesat data being added to the various streams noted changes were made to the remaining Chart Show TV channels (Flaunt, Bliss, NME and Flava) earlier in the week. I was expecting them to be added yesterday, but it seems that for whatever reason that didn't happen.

Oddly enough my Foxsat displayed a message about detecting new or changed channels this morning, but after the rescan no new services were found. Perhaps some regional changes not affecting postcodes in the East Midlands?

I don't find any official lineup showing M4M2 was ever on 305.

It was on 306 on the lineup list I had from Freesat at beginning on May.

It would appear your right oz having double checked the first post of the thread - M4M2 was on 306 in May. When my Humax did the Friday rescan it found the 2 new services and reported 1 changed. I therefore have no idea which service it changed

Looks like we have another channel free week this week.

And we're supposed to reach 200 by the end of the year

Do you mean "TCW Fight" on 251?
