The version still on Astra 2D is the Part Netwok one...and 7701 on 10934H 1N has disappeared.

Cheers - apperently windows media centre decided to label it channel 4 - there have been problems with microsofts trasponder data that is downloaded with the guide data download recently so that fecked things up slightly

guidetool fixed all that tho after i scanned that frequency

Thank You

When I used Media Centre for TV watching/recording, it had so many problems and things which needed to be corrected or set up properly for me to be able to enjoy it. I love customising things and tinkering, but that took the biscuit. The software is it's biggest letdown, so rigid and un-user friendly unless you are going to have everything as standard according to Microsoft, it's a nightmare to get it working the way you want.

Agreed, WMC has got to be the worst to set up but by far the best once up and running (for my needs anyway) The biggest hassle is no reliable way to backup a channel listing. I have a multisat setup with SaorView and FreeView added to the mix. A clean install takes over 10 hours to rebuild my channel listings from the literally 1000's of trashy sat channels.

I would have it with Freesat channels as default and add to it the Saorview channels and any channels from Freeview that aren't on Freesat. Getting that all in one list and removing all the crap that comes with it would take the best part of a day I'd imagine, and I just haven't got the time for that right now.

Channel 5 Part Network is now pointing to 10964 H and not the version on the BBC transponder on 2D. Part Network covers the Midlands, the South, South East, the West, South West, Wales and Anglia post codes (excludes London)

Although 5 refer to this region on their own website as 'Part Network' I see that on most sites it is now referred to as 'South Central'. Sounds more logical and descriptive. 5's own website is not up-to-date anyway as they still don't show Northern Ireland as a separate region which it has been since last October. The also show Freesat on their 'How to get Channel 5' page and it turns out to be a link to 'FreeSat from Sky'!.

I'm sure the Welsh find South Central logical!

Sorry for posting on this thread, could not resist.

"814 speedauction removed" what a tragic loss for freesat

Well a bit more than 'Part Network'. 5 isn't that great with geography - they have Northumberland and Cumbria in their Scotland region

15.03 on 20:01:12 Press TV disappeared during an article on censorship and being silenced by Ofcom : Licence Revoked. (possible this may be free satellite but not Freesat - apologies if it's the wrong place)

Press TV has gone from all platforms so Eutelsat or the uplink site has terminated the feed.

Maybe off topic for this this but Press TV still available on Astra 1 and Hotbird.

Makes sense. Ofcom has revoked their UK licence, they still broadcast in Europe.

Sorry to sound a pain here but can we keep this changelog on topic for Freesat EPG changes only. Digi Man has made a 28.2 non-Freesat FTA changelog for which all Press TV discussion can take place as it was never on Freesat's platform.
