Yes both the BUSH Freesat SD and HD boxes can receive Non-Freesat channels with a few clicks.
First you need to go into the main menu and make sure "Show Non-Freesat Channels" is set to "Yes or On". Then you need to go to the "Add Non-Freesat Channels" and you need to manually add all the transponder frequencies one separately "Add Channels" and save them.
When you're done adding all the one's you need, in order to view the non-freesat channels at anytime simply press the "Channel List" button and click "SWAP" and they will be listed, they aren't on the main EPG which is annoying but it is certainly possible to view them on a BUSH box - as someone who has owned and used a number of them -and recently got rid of them as they are very poor quality.
I still have a broken Goodmans and a Bush Freesat SD box that needed the same manual tune for non-Freesat channels.
What does the 'Higher-Class' of Freesat box do differently (Humax, Echostar etc)? do non-freesat channels appear in the guide or something?
