A lot of the negativity seems to be aimed at Sam (though admitedly Jessie seems to be getting her fair share of criticism now)

Before she went, Niamh was the target. Maybe it comes from being young and pretty? I don't know. I just think there is definitely a lack of positive threads on the forum right now.

i remember when the series started and it was a lovely atmosphere, now as there are only a few left its gone crazy

Sam just had that edge in the sing off, for me. I'm becoming increasingly annoyed at the comments from some people on here; I love Rachel but after her third time in the sing off, it makes sense for her to go.

That was a great sing off and Sam sounded lovely. She is young and beautiful too and she can dance. If the reality TV crowd insist on voting for Jodie (who has played a blinder in RTV terms and knows what they want and will vote for) or Jessie (who is lovely) then Sam shouldn't worry. She has everything going for her.

Sam's gonna get something out of this no matter what, but I think everyone should vote on mass next week

i agree, especially as some people on the forum have decided to vote for both jessie and jodi just so sam leaves after the first round next week!

I really hope Sam or Jessie get's it, their only "fault" in the eyes of most on here is that they are young, pretty and slim. I also think they are both talented though Samantha has an obvious edge over Jessie. I havn't voted before but I will have to next week, because the result tonight was ridiculous

Sam sang beautifully in that sing off. Rachel, bless her, over acted again. Sam was understated. Yet powerful.

I'm really surprised at the amount of vitriol aimed at a 17 year old woman. Some people on this site should be ashamed of themselves. It largely appears to be fans of Jodie and Rachel. These two ladies might be mature but their 'fans' sure are not. I'm really disgusted.

I reckon this week result will not be replicated next week. I think people didn't vote for sam because they thinks she's safe. JB comments really worked against sam. Jessie got the sympathy vote imho. I reckon she could still win in it.

Even if she doesn't win ( won't believe it till it happens ) she's a star and she'll be around for a long time.

i knew from last night she was in the sing off and this morning i read she got the lowest votes and what can i say i'm gutted

but loved her in the sing off and obviously the right decision was made, people were not warming to Rachel even after the performance she gave last night so it makes sense to let her go i guess

i agree, also did you see the faces of the judges, especially john and denise, you could tell that they did not want either of the 2 of them in the sing off

she was supposed 2 have a solo line, and then Rachel

but she sang Rachel's solo with her, and she kinda started to sing quieter rather than just stop.

but people thought "OMG SHE HAD AN EXTRA SOLO!" but I'm not gonna say that cos it will be another reason for her not to win
