Yeah, I think people forget that really the shows focus is on Oliver and Fagins gang rather than Nancy. At the beginning I wasn't much of a Sam fan but I started watching her more closely in the group numbers when there singing songs from the actual musical she really does shine out. She optimise's what I think Nancy should be like, young, vulnerable but a bit brash and fiesty.
