Great to see Sam has so many supporters who don't seem to get into that like some others. That would mean a lot to her.

So excited to actually get to the studio next week now”

You lucky lucky bee! As you can tell i'm slightly jealous! There's no point is there really, there all doing there best getting into there own personality is just not right.

I'll try and let you know in spoilers how she gets on but think we get mobiles taken off us as we go in. Hoping that's not correct as I won't be able to vote then!

Sam does have stage presence. When she performs I do watch, listen and enjoy.

Unlike the cabaret artist.

“Samantha had an unfair advantage this week as each girl had to choose their own song. So far, so good. But because Sam picked “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, she got to train with Idina Menzel, herself. What did Jodie get? Some trannies on a tram cheering her on! Rachel? Some middle class members of the public saying she was good! Anyway, it was a confident performance but she hit a few bum notes and comes across as a bit cocky now. She is too young, in my opinion. Barry had the most letchy comment of the night: “Please Samantha, can I have some more!””

Confident = yes .....Cocky= no

Funny thing is when I watched it this Saturday I actually thought she looked the most nervous just before the comments then she ever had done. I don't see the cockyness myself from all the articles and interviews i've read she actually seems very sweet, as well as what my friend said. I think people assume that if someone gets good comments they'll automatically get cocky.

Gutted Niamh's gone, she was my favourite from the start, but Sam's my new favourite by miles now, I hope she wins!

She really impressed me last night. The clip of her singing for Idina was lovely, you can tell how much it meant to her singing that song.

she is now fave to win with the bookies so hopefully
(im just a little worried in that i think her and Jessie's votes are being split in terms of people voting for the 'younger' ones)

i'm deffo supporting Samantha now, i can't believe they had the chance to pick their own songs and it was only Sam that picked a musical theatre song. she took a risk and it paid off. plus it shows she has a huge interest in musical theatre which is good. i really hope sam gets to the final and jessie or jodie go out next week as i can't stand them.

yay another Sam fan welcome !!
it defo was make or break for her, and it went to her advantage

( i wouldnt mind if Jessie or Jodie went this week, only because they are a threat to Sam though)

Quote:
“Sam talks about getting through to the semi-finals

We caught up with Sam for a quick chat after last week's results show.

What was your plan going into Saturday night's performance?

'On Saturday night I felt I had to show people something they haven't seen from me before, because I think it's all very well being good at what you do, but you have to push yourself or you'll become a one-trick pony. I've tried my hardest to push myself. That shows that you are a really versatile performer and that's what I want to be.'

Are you pleased to be through to the semi-finals?

'I went out there on Saturday night and I was desperate to be in the semi-finals. There are four places and I really wanted one of them. All the girls worked really, really hard and put up a good fight, but I'm thrilled that I'm through.'

How does it feel to lose another Nancy from the house?

'When my name got called and I knew I was through, it was a massive weight off my mind, but then you go and sit down and worry about the other girls. You do worry for them and we really do care about each other.'

'I thought of the good old days when we used to have two massive people carriers to move us around. We call all fit in a tiny car now.'

Have you enjoyed the past week?

'Last week I met my idol Idina Menzel, I danced around with Ben Ellis, I went to the Sex and the City premiere and I got really good comments for singing my favourite song on Saturday night. I'd say that is the best week of my life.' ”

I actually think it would have, I think she introduced a lot of people to that song! I'm looking forward to Sam's performance on Saturday
