Bush Internet radio problem
ney

I turned on my Bush Internet radio this morning and it seems jamed at connecting to network. It was working last time I used it 4 or 5 days ago. I have tried reseting it to factory settings with no luck. Im using a BT home Hub with software version 6.2.6.E. Anyone got any ideas please.

Sorry to hear about your problem - I have never bought a Bush branded item that worked properly for long (if ever). I recently tried one of their LCD TVs - dreadful picture with thick coloured lines running through it (unwatchable) took it back and the second TV had the same problem.

Good luck with sorting this out - don't buy Bush (do they have connections to the US political dynasty?)!

I have started thinking Bush have started going downhill a little. My Bush Internet Radio seems to be working again this evening but I could not get it to work this moring for some reason. I have had the Bush Internet radio neally 11 months now and its been ok up untill now. I may wait to see if the BT internet Radio ever comes down in price a little more then I may go and buy that.

It's a known problem (well, with the users anyway) at Reciva's end. My Internet Radio has had the same problem, but it works now. It has affected a wide range of radios in the same way. There is thread after thread on the Reciva forums on the same issue.

Thanks as for a short time this morning I had thought my Bush Internet Radio had packed in or there was another fault. I have been looking at the BT internet radio but im going to wait to see if the price gose down a little. I have been happy with my Bush so far untill this morning but all seems ok again and at lest you have told me what the fault could have been.

Hi! Ney
I have a Bush Internet Radio, and it can also get stuch on Connecting to Internet, when there is a problem with low signal between the Router and the Radio.

Mine worked well, then I had problems when other people got routers in my neighbourhood which resulted in having to get someone in and hide the network.

Then our router stopped working[Netgear], so I got a new one[BT] and the radio has worked well.

However, since around Christmas, on my main computer, I have seen more routers being picked up.

And I have had lots of problems recently, with the radio not being able to pick up a strong enough signal from the router.

I have someone coming tomorrow to sort out my Mum's computer, so I will ask him to hide our Network and hopefully yet again the radio will work as it should.

I got it in October 2006, and it is still working.

Sorry to hear about your problems, hope you get them sorted out.
