APPRENTICE lovebirds Michael Sophocles and Lindi Mngaza enjoyed steamy romps behind the backs of their rivals and Sir Alan Sugar – in a shed.

The pair, who are now dating, sneaked off for secret sessions in an outbuilding in the grounds of the show’s £5million house.

As the other candidates slept, they swigged wine, kissed, cuddled and got to know each other “very well”.

They then kept up a pretence that they were nothing more than rivals during tasks or when facing Sir Alan in the boardroom.

Last night pals said Lindi had let slip just how close they had become.

She told one friend: “Michael said on his CV to Sir Alan that he was a good Jewish boy. And he wasn’t lying…if you know what I mean.”

With filming of the hit BBC1 show now over, the pair are being less discreet about their blossoming relationship.

Last week we snapped sexy Lindi, who was seen being fired by Sir Alan three weeks ago, enjoying a romantic stroll in the park with ex-male escort Michael.

And now Michael is presumably going to suffer for Lindi's revelations if he is still in the competition currently. ( No I haven't looked at the spoilers! )

I wonder why the Daily Star put Lindi's name in the headline rather than Michael's... sigh.

And this just feels like Katie and Paul all over again. I'm enjoying this series of The Apprentice but can't help thinking the candidates were picked in a similar fashion to last year.

RIP series 1 and what I thought was the true ethos of the Apprentice.

Alas I only started watching properly in series 3.

Mine was more of a general comment about the series, Aleksis!!

Series 1 was mostly just a "test" to see how well people would respond. People responded better to humour than business, I think, and the series have been gradually more and more centred on making contestants look like clowns.
