Tre Azam - Saturday 13:00 - LBC 97.3

Tre Azam has been signed by London talk station LBC 97.3 to present a Saturday afternoon show.

I caught him on Saturday, his show was pretty good actually. Better than some of the crap people they have on LBC these days

He was one of the most outspoken and memorable contestants.

He said: "if you don't call in, You'll just have to listen to me for two hours and goodness knows I can do that" when he started the show

I love the way Tre starts off with all sorts of impossible to disagree with general 'common sense' statements then it's as if a switch is thrown somewhere within his tired mind, and he morphs in to fairly right wing madness.

amusing...an Asian Jimmy Hill and we love him for it.

I didn't like him at the start but really warmed to him by the end. He's definetely one of the better contestants to appear on the show.

Loved the bit where SAS asked him whether he thought he had "c***ed up royally" (the task) and he said something like "I think I've c***ed up , but not c***ed royally as such"

he was well attatched to the young audience
i could see he was reaching out to all the asian people and drew in many indian and pakistani listeners, which is nice

tre is doing well!

(( i was going to say LBC have done well, but they got rid of so many great people and they got ken livingstone to do a show, so no way is LBC getting my approval :P ))
