I've just watched the video to his single on YouTube

Cowell's clearly got no idea how to make money out of this kid, and so has decided to cash in the only way he knows how - through the music business. Its a bit desperate though tbh, and doomed to failure.

This is where Britain's Got Talent falls down a bit really - Cowell's determined to make money out of it, but he doesn't know what he's doing with these acts like he does with the singers on X Factor. The contestants are better off getting away from him if they possibly can.

Unfortunately, George really won as much because of his age and story as because of his talent. But those people who voted for him are not the ones who are going to run out and buy that type of record.

I saw his performance on a kids awards show and he seemed like a nice kid, not a big head - I know this because when he tried to spin on it he fell over after two turns.

I saw his variety performance... it was okay but he did not need so many dancers.

Especially as they were better than him. Proper training over a long period shows in the performance. They could do eight shows a week and expend the equivalent of a 4 minute mile in energy terms at every performance. Georgie Porgie could manage about three shows a week and do the equivalent of four miles an hour at each performance. If his computer skills are OK then he could have a successful career in the theatre. That is in the box office. As a performer I don't think he has a cat in hell's chance of cutting the mustard. The competition is fierce and many much more multi-talented kids from the stage schools and dance academies find it difficult to find regular work. So Georgie has no chance.

Faryl's been very busy in the run up to Christmas. Signing a £2.3 million multi album contract. Singing with Katherine Jenkins at the Royal Albert Hall, the National indoor Arena at Birmingham and The MEN Arena in Manchester. Then a concert at The Lighthouse Theatre, Kettering. All of this and busy recording her debut album and keeping up with her school work. Phew!
What's Georgie Porgie up to now that his 15 minutes of fame are over? Back to the market squares of the north with the occasional appearance on children's TV? If he's wise he will learn a trade, he'd earn more money as a plumber than he ever would as a performer. I shall watch BGT 2009 in fear and trepidation knowing that silly pre-teen girls are likely to vote another crap act into first place .

I'm watching the video for the first time right now and it's horrifically bad, no offence to his fans since this is an Appreciation thread and this is meant to be constructive criticism, but Syco are messing him around by allowing him to release this, he is a dancer after all. He is a good little dancer but they don't know what to do with him and I cannot honestly see much of a future for him in the entertainment industry. A fitness video perhaps? Or maybe he might turn out to be talented at something else a la Ant and Dec, TV presenting??????

Why? According to Wiki he is in Waterloo Road? Good on him, but his moment in the spotlight has come and gone. Good entertainment in BGT,, but thats about it.

He may not be in the spotlight much but he's still making something of his life - doesn't mean we can't keep this thread active.
