judging from his clothes on the apprentice (im pretty sure it is designer wear) and the way he talks and his education

he seems rich suggesting he definitely is there for the experience -money is a secondary thing to him

Anyone who has "cognac" as a hobby must be loaded.

Possibly, although it could be the case that he just really likes to take care of his appearance and prevent that persona.

Along the lines of what David Brent said about turning up to sales pitches in a good car.

He sounds like he's been to public school so, yeah, I reckon either he or his parents has/have got a bit of dosh.

Never confuse "class" with "money". Sadly breeding and a good education do not pay the bills. I have friends whose family once owned half of Leicestershire. They still live in a 'country pile' an inherited Manor house surrounded by beautiful land and lakes. To an outsider they appear to be 'loaded'. In fact they have very little money. They make money in various ways - letting people fish in their lakes; hiring the house out for big parties and wedding receptions etc. That money then goes to maintain and heat the huge house and maintain the grounds. The kids had a private education paid for by a Trust Fund which is now, sadly, empty.
I also have a friend who 'owns' four houses - all mortgaged - all mortgages paid for by his Tenants. One day, when all of the mortgages are paid off he will actually 'really' own the houses.
I am not for one moment suggesting Raef is destitute. He may very well be rich. However, appearances can be deceptive.

Do you know how much a normal house in north London costs?

Well he went to school at Haileybury college, where fees cost £18,000-£24,000 per year, so unless he got a scholarship, his folks must be pretty well off

£500k is more like a starting point for a house in a lot of areas...

Any idea what part of N London he lives in?

I heard/read that too. I think it was one of the Jenny's that said it

I should say north-west London. I was judging purely on the photo of the house. It seemed like a small house.
