Incentives for joining O2

My partner has been with O2 for a while. Would there be any incentives for her or me if I decided to join O2?

I'm realistic and not looking for massive discounts or stupid freebies, just wondering if there is any incentive for either of us, if I were to move to them.

I've checked the website but can't seem to see anything.

One incentive is the fabulous O2 broadband discounted at £7.50 a month (this is a rebadged Be Internet and is superb value for such a package)

The ability to choose 12/18/24 month contracts at different price points to suit if you want to upgrade regularly or get best value from your tariff.

On some 18month contracts & simplicity, you can choose a free bolt on to add value to your tariff - unlimited internet, o2 to o2 calls etc.

o2 Treats - after 6 months I think, you can add small bolt on packages for free, typically 50 extra txts or 30mins etc.

Good retentions deals at the end of your contract to keep you, plus they really do reward continued loyalty to o2 (I've been with them for 5-6yrs now and get 50% discount & a free phone upgrade every year!).

The fantastic o2 broadband for £7.50 a month if your on a LLU exchange.

Good customer service.

Branding to the phones is minimal and is limited almost always to the software (i.e. no logos on the bodywork) and contract phones come unlocked.

Pretty good 3G and HSDPA coverage.

HTH.

The O2 broadband deal is good, but you dont need a contract phone to get the discount, a pay and go one will do - you have to bung a tenner on it at least once every three months to get the broadband discount.
Some said good 3G coverage? Hmmm, O2 are way behind in this area, they were recently threatened by OFCOM that unless they pulled their fingers out, the 3G licence bought by (O2) would be shortened by 3 months.
I used to be with O2, but found T-Mobile to be far better in every area. Incentives are pretty much the same, but whenever i introduce a new customer i get a £20 credit on my bill, and so does the person i introduce - so we both benefit.
(Anyone wanna join up?? ha!)

I can only go on the areas I live in, my phone says 3G or HSDPA more often than it doesn't! Didn't realise they'd had their wrists slapped by OFCOM.. Maybe because they spent too much time putting in EDGE for the iPhone!

Actually their 3G penetration is worse than Voda's, Orange's, T-Mobile's and 3's.

Where i live, O2 have only just fitted a mast in the area. Before that there was no coverage here at all! (well, if you went outside you could sometimes get enough of a signal to use the phone to send a text)
The other networks have been good here for years. There's still no 3G coverage here though, in fact if you look at the coverage maps for any 3G network, Norfolk looks a bit blank!
We're always last to get new stuff, well us and Wales.

l know, she got a really good retention deal this month. That's why I'm thinking of switching to them. I feel Three shafted me last time, deal didn't turn out as good as I thought it would be. I had more with the original deal I got through P4U.

The only good thing about it was being a 12 month contract, which is coming to an end shortly. Be interesting to see what they offer me this time to stay with them.

At the moment, at least on the simplicity plan, they are offering free O2 to O2 calls, so if you do sign up you'll never have to pay to talk to her, might not always be a good thing though

Are you sure? If you go to Argyll or anywhere on the West Coast or Scottish islands, you'll struggle to get anything (except Vodafone for some odd reason).
