He stopped updating his website after week 4 when things, including editing, didnt appear to go his way. It was possibly his worst episode and it is odd that he has not continued with his brief blog.
Also his site has a look about it that suggests he is looking for a career outside of a business enviroment which lets him pose in black and white pictures, not what I would expect of an apprentice finalist.

The fact that Lucinda and Raef dont have registered sites suggests to me that they are still fully tied to the show, I would go for those two being the finalists. Could see Lucinda scoring well with Sugars assistants, I cant imagine the Scottish bloke from Rock Investments taking to Raef.

I am almost certain that neither Michael, Alex, Lee or Raef will win, considering the comments that Sir Alan made at the start of the series regarding women in business, and the victimisation of Lucinda and Sara at some point during the show I would not be surpised to see either of those two contestants win. If Helene flukes a victory it would be a kop out for the show because she has hardly had any screen time, she is still an unknown quantity.


Although Sir Alan says he is not influenced by the production team he must be to some extent. The broadcast episodes give us a spin on each character, there are certain candidates, such as Lee, who I dont think Sir Alan will employ for publicity reasons- it would re-inforce criticisms made against him.


Its a shame they couldnt have brought back Paul Torrisi for a special episode, would love to have seen him and JennyC have an argument.

Whether anyone likes it or not, Sara is probably going to get fired tonight.

Helene and Lucinda would be great as the final 2. A woman will win.

That doesn't really mean much. It could be that he was taking advice from the production team not to update the blog for fear of giving too much away.

i take your point... he may have just got complacent or been advised against it, although i suspect he is/or was planning on something public- if he were to be in the final i doubt he would create an individual website, he is there to be part of a company.

I think it does mean something. The reason business people put up their websites is so they can generate some business that way whether that's by getting publicity or clients. The finalists are going to be working for SAS hence wouldn't need their own websites. And this site was set up after the apprentice started airing.

Anyway I hope it's true as I don't want him to win anyway. I think a woman will win this year because SAS has been accused of treating the female candidates slightly discriminately over this and the previous series so he wants to prove a point. Claire and Helene have been edited as some of the more nastier or annoying contestants so they have no chance as the winner is generally likeable , even if they are annoying. As much as I hate to say it , SAS won't hire Sara because, there's the "liability" of her maybe doing a "Michelle" and maybe marrying and getting pregnant It sounds horrible but unfortunately SAS does think this way as demonstrated during the interview stage last year.

That leaves Lucinda and she is getting a rather positive edit.

I feel the same, Alex is competent and presentable but his shortcomings are masked by a camera presence- he was fortunate in week 1 that Raef and Nicolas essentially gave him an argument to bury them with.


Its interesting to note how Lucinda and Raef have been presented. Raef was the tool of week 1, but from week 2 onwards has been come acroos well, that can be partly attributed to him being a genuinely nice guy, but also the editing of clips such as the episode with omar in marrakech.

Lucinda had the immediate disadvantage of looking like Katie and dressing like a nutter- but as the show has progressed has proven her worth, again partly in thanks to editing. she would work well with Simon from the previous series.


I cant think of a more enjoyable job than editing the apprentice- they must be able to do a job on every candidate with the footage they gather, i would imagine lee (who i like) has given them hours of stupidity with his reverse pterodactyl and aliens idea.

I don't want him to win. I think Alex could have a career in the media. He's better than being stuck in an office.

He could have a go at modelling, but if you mean TV work, I doubt it, he has a terrible way with words at the best of time, and no charisma at all. Raef would make a good presenter, I suspect.
