Buffer 'problem'?

Anyone come across this before:

18.25 Humax switched to BBC1
18.55 TV switched off at mains but Humax left on
21.50 TV switched back on
21.55 Humax in the buffer 18.25-18.55 then 21.50-21.55 on BBC1

Also ocurred this morning according to my wife - not that I believed her

until it did it for me tonight

Is switching off the TV in some way killing the aerial feed into the 9200? I think that would explain what you are seeing.

Yes that could explain it. Do you have an aerial amp or mast-head PSU on the same plug as the TV that got switched off?

When the hummy loses signal it just stops recording and then starts again when the signal comes back.

I suspect that you are probably correct! Had a new aerial fitted last week but I thought the masthead amp wasn't powered up.

Will have to contact the fitter and see what he did!
