Sir Alan's soft spot for Michael

I can't believe he wasn't fired. Fine, Sara wasn't great but given how the stark contrast between her and Michael's performance the previous week - she should've stayed.

Michael played the 'Let me be project manager' card that's done once every fortnight and as par usual, Sir Alan saved him . Sir Alan has a soft spot for Michael and it's incredibly annoying watching him being so easily persuaded by a desperate, last minute speech.

Although I love Nick and Margaret I really think they should report back a more comprehensive version of events so that annoying contestants like Michael can't escape like he did today. I guess it wouldn't make great TV though.

I felt that the last bit in the board room with Michael's shameless begging was scripted.

I would say that is all Kosher together....No offence ment but WTF..????

As Jenny M said last week Micheal is a bit of a shite...I cant belive he got away with it again...Last week Nick praised both Sara and Lucinda...and Micheal got away by the skin of his teeth...and this week he turned on his team leader even before the teams knew who the winner was...there has been dreadful decisions in the past but this has got to be the one that tops the lot...I wanted to throw my (especially bought for the apprentice night) wine bottle at the TV...Im flabbergasted....As Mr Meldrew would say

I DONT BELIVE IT...

He shouldn't be there. 'End of'!!

I thought past performances counted for something? And Sara shone during the Moroccan task, whereas Michael floundered.

Given they were equally poor this time round, Sir Alan's decision should have been based on what happened prior.

I completely agree.

And I too wished that Nick and Margaret would have said a bit more!

I thought Michael was an absolute nightmare, particularly when that girl said her partner wanted a traditional cake. Michael was horrible - all he was short of saying was 'call the whole thing off'!

Why Oh Why?!?

He's a complete and utter prize pillock. Actually S'ralan is too for keeping him.

I thought he should have gone last week.

I watched most of the show on mute tonight due to a phonecall, but could not believe that Sara went before him.

Unbelievable

I also felt that last minute add-on was BBC organized. They clearly see him as their entertainment trump card now that the Jenny's are out and the rest of the candidates are pretty straight.

It's very weird that Sir Alan has a soft spot for him - I'm very confused that Michael reminds him of himself...

SAS's fondness for certain candidates is not a good reflection on him at all.

I can only hope he is being built up for a very, very big fall.

Still havent forgiven him for not taking on Badger

Then again, she`s done very well for herself anyway

The Badger being his worst decision ever. let's not forget Simon over the powerhouse that was Kristina. Also, Katie initially making final 2 last year before she quit. I honestly have no idea where his head's at.

Couldn't agree more.

I'm still amazed Michael's still there after the Moroccan task and what an idiot he showed himself to be. I can't believe Sir Alan has given him yet another chance

Sir Alan looks at Michael and fondly thinks back to the days when he was a twenty-five year-old with a penis.

Sorry Sara - no c*ck = no second chance.

When Michael does get fired (next week) how do you think the audience will react towards him? I mean, I thought the audience were going to show dislike towards the Jennys, but from what I've read, the audience were quite nice?

They will applaud generously as they did for ginger last week.

It's all getting a bit too false.

I'm starting to wonder if Suralan suspects Michael is his love-child....

This season more than ever, good tv rather than professionalism has the edge.

Michael doesn't stand a chance of winning but they need a fool or hate figure to keep the viewers tuned in till the end.

at least if Michael gets into the final four the three interviewers will rip him apart, and I'd sell popcorn for that event

The way things are going, I'm not sure it's a SOFT spot anymore.
I think Suralan and Michael need to get a room.

I'm surprised Michael hasn't gone down on his knees yet to beg, oh maybe that's next week.
