I really despise when she picks on a particular contestant and quotes what they say even if they are lying..

She should do it for all of them because some are allowed to get away with lying whilst others get condemned and their confidence gets shattered by that woman..

Also Nick giving praise to singular contestants is annoying, its a team task you know... Clare was actually for the cheaper dresses..

Am I alone..?

I think so yes!

Margaret and Nick are incredible!

I love them both!

The show is edited and they probably say more during recording. What a peculiar thread.

Poor ickle' Alex and Michael.

But, I agree on the Claire issue. She was having a go about Raef not being comfortable in the task, yet he went for broke while she wanted to play safe (ala the other team).

yes but the point is: it's not a level playing field for the contestants.

Especially when she describes some as 'a waste of space'

I love 'em both- could shag em both morning and night!

I hope they never leave the show!

I love them. I'd probably feel the same way as the op however, if they weren't making comments I agreed with. Margaret, specifically, has done this sort of thing for Alex AND Michael; both of whom I dislike.

I think you are alone - at least in my opinion. It is a team teak within which INDIVIDUALS vie for attention - Sir Alan isn't picking a team to work for him. At this stage of the game (and it is one) feedback regarding individual performance is important. It is also what happens on assessment interviews etc where people work in teams - I've had and given feedback on some of those and is has nothing to do with teamwork - it has all to do with who can contribute to a team and who excels within that team.

If everyone can have a go at the editing during the tasks, I fail to understand why people don't accept that comments made by M & N are also edited so we only see the more contentious ones.

and Nick today.. 'This is the wrong decision this is Birmingham and they brought expensive dresses' Proved wrong.

Do you despise her or the editing?

For the one or two things I may disagree with she comes up with some cracking lines / facial expressions. At the end of the day though, both are going to remember certain things more than others, plus so many times SAS doesn't listen to either of them when it comes to firing.

Well it must be the editing.. because from what I can see she picks on a candidate and puts them in the corner straight away even if there were worse people on the task.

I think the candidates do that themselves by lying. Michael told some very obvious porkies today (and seems pretty good at spin) and was pulled up, yet still stayed in. If someone's whole argument is based on a lie then it is important to pick up on it. Other lies are less important - like Jennifer / Lucinda / Helene as they are not central to the team failure.

Sara was also picked up on for the way she sold, but Helene admitted straight away that she had made a mistake in the way she organised the teams, which seems like a good strategy if you don't visit the boardroom very often.

she just points out what she has observed, that's what she's there for. She is hardly going to go round the room one by one and comment on each person, if someone does something particularly crap then she will comment. fair enough really. I am sure they can all handle it. After all they are all fair game when they go on the show, you must agree with this, you yourself think they are fair game e.g. when sara was being yelled at by half the house. I'm sure you commented in another thread that she could take care of herself...??

If they didn't lie, she wouldn't pick them up on it. Simple as.

Exactly. She only goes for the jugular of those who expose their necks and supply her with a sharp knife.

I think you're just trying to play devil's advocate. She does it quite often and you're she doesn't call everyone up on their mistakes but she can't keep constantly butting in and overshadowing Sir Alan. If she did, it would've been edited out anyway.

I think you're being a tad harsh on Claire as well. She initially wanted the cheaper dresses but once Raef put across his case, she changed her mind very quickly. I liked that. At least she's not annoyingly stubborn like some of the others, she was positive for the whole task and didn't complain once.

As far as I can see, she only corrects the ones who are lying.

Leave Margaret (and Nick) alone! If I wasn't bethrothed I would be proposing to them both!

Well she might as well be mute as far as SA is concerned. That's two weeks in a row that Michael has lied through his teeth and he's still there despite Margaret's attempts to expose him.

we dont see everything she and nick says... nor do we see what half of sir alan is saying the boardroom

anyone lying is sure to be known anyway becuase sir alan gets all the feedback from the pair and they are the most hoenst people there is... i would never suspect them of siding or favouring anyone
