I've always liked Claire, but then I have no instant prejudice against larger people; that some people can't see past to notice her other qualities.

As for undermining other PM's, I think you will find that she is the only one, that has taken anything that SAS has said and changed her attitude. Unfavourable editing aside, she has flaws and she has admitted those in front of SAS, but overall I think she has a good chance of winning this.

How many tasks has she undermined the PM?

Yeah she is brilliant isnt she!!!”

Only person with two wins as PM.

For a lunch time menu it is a niche market outside of London. As she is a good ol northern girl, she was correct in her assessment based on her own area; sadly they were in London so that didn't apply.

Yes she made a mistake in that, but if you actually watched the whole episode that was perhaps the only time she voiced an opinion about the management style.

Is curry a lunchtime niche market outside of London? You ever been to Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle???????
I was even known to have the odd lunchtime curry in Edinburgh.
And-my local pub here in Windsor has a curry on offer every day at lunch.

Hmmm. There's a phD thesis in this topic, I am sure of it...

Raef does seem to bring the best out in most people, that is his forte methinks

Well I'd settle for that if only because it means Alex and Lee won't be there!

Yes she did. And she missed the point of the task. It was a one-off pub event so it was supposed to be different/special. Why would somone bother going for a pub lunch which serves traditional pub grub if they can do that every day?! I thought the Bollywood idea was a good one.

I think Claire will win. She has a hell of a lot of self belief and seems to take whatever Siralan throws at her and comes bouncing back.

I want Raef to win, though.

Ditto.

But I sense Claire is going from strength to strength and will out-perform them all during the interview phase. She's very good at speaking up for herself.

I think that is where I stand on this topic! I can't warm to her - she is way too smug and has been very unpleasant at times to some of the others.

Absolutely...cant argue with that fact. Not sure her wins are down to her ability to manage the task though.

Her and Alex have both done their best (bar last nights show) to undermine the PM.

Would you honestly want her on your team when you were PM because I know I wouldnt.

Ive liked Claire since Day 1. Shes deffinatly my favourite, im refering to her as Badger 2 now.

Also, my best friend loves her, and he is basically an idiot when it comes to TV shows, and only likes who he is supposed to like and doesnt think for himself etc.

Yes, but how many people do you know like her who are doing ok for themselves? Only people like her survive this jungle of life - me? I'm too nice

I used to absolutely hate her with a passion... but I've really warmed to her lately. Well, actually, she annoyed me again last week, but she was better yesterday.

Hiya,

I have to disagree with you there. I know many very successful people and they are perfectly pleasant with it. The two attributes are not mutually exclusive.

I cant stand Claire. She always undermines the project manager, whoever it is, showing no respect at all, as AS pointed out to her. She is trying too hard to emulate the Badger imo, and failing.

Crikey- I waant rid of Rentagob

Never have I seen someone so conniving in the way she undermines people.

Well actiually I have two Claire clones at work-and they are driving me mad

lol Hi there, you!

I know what you mean, but it seems to me that the sharks DO get on at the expense of others. I know not everyone's like it. She'll do ok out of this, will Claire, even if she doesn't win. She has a very thick skin.

Claire has been devious IMO - she undermined the team leaders in earlier tasks & now the number of competitors is dwindling down, she has realised that she needs to start performing...so has upped her game & has dropped some of the more bitchy parts of her game-plan. Claire was good this week...I just can't forget her underhand tactics in earlier weeks

Oh Sid you can't really believe this! She is incapable of delivering a fully formed sentence or focussing on relevant issues or sounding even vaguely professional. She deals in rep language, she personalises issues, gets involved in irrelevancies, and doesn't understand what is an issue and what is not.

Thought Claire was a right pain in the jacksy from the beginning and think that she is marvellous! She should definately win the Apprentice!

She has character, she's the type of person who wouldn't put up with nonsense and she's well up for any challenge!

She also has a sense of humour, but she does really get on my nerves, but not in the 'you bore me' or the 'backstabbing bitch' way.

I'd like Claire to win.
