Maybe it was just the subject matter wedding dresses which was not particularly interesting.

The people who were buying the products were not particularly interesting either.

I got the feeling that Sugar created that little artificial drama in the boardroom as he hab been told that the footage they had was not great tv.

It was a big fall from last week's episode best to worst in a week.

I quite liked it.

Wasn't the best, but its an unpredictable show. The producers can only do so much, if they tweak and meddle with things to make every week "amazing" they will just ruin it.

Although, that little event in the boardroom came across as a bit fake unfortunately.

Yes, it's a real shame that an episode that showed two teams actually cooperating and working together as teams will inevitably be seen as "dull" by those who think that only confilct is entertainment. It is exactly that which caused Big Brother to become the horrendous car crash TV that it is, and quite a few of us have seen The Apprentice going the same way.

Fortunately for the civilised community real life isn't all about conflict all of the time. If it were, no-one would ever achieve anything worthwhile.

Comparing this weeks to last, this week was boring. I was tired of watching it in the end, even the boardroom and who was told they were fired.

Next week will be good. I hope! What's the task?

To be fair, anything was going to be a disappointment compared to last weeks whopper.

I really liked it, but I liked looking at the wedding stuff

It's the advertisement one, so should be enjoyable.

Even Nick and Margaret seemed to think it was boring as they appeared to be absent for half of the episode.

If you like stuff like that then good. Personally, it's boring.

I loved it. I was laughing a lot of the way through! Especially at bearman Raef and Lee who cannot say thong without sounding like a dirty man.

Well said pammi_i.

I actually enjoyed tonight's episode and even though I'd read the spoilers I wasn't totally convinced that Lucinda had won the task until the figures were read in the BR.

Totally agree with you both. Car crash/BB TV is not what I watch the Apprentice for. For those who like that sort of thing let them watch BB. Last night's episode actually saw people working together, making decisions and kept us wondering which strategy would work.

I didn't find it dull at all.

This is one of the reasons I don't watch Big Brother, because I can't stand the constant "car crash" shock factor.

I thought there was huge tension as to the outcome of the main business decision: was it best to go for hugely expensive dresses in a place like Birmingham or was middle of the range product more appropriate? Nick got it wrong, I was unsure, and if the task had finished an hour earlier or the whims of the shoppers had been different the outcome could easily have been different. I also thought it was very interesting that there were consequences of Helene's team not opting for the prestigious brand on the desire of other suppliers to use Helene's team.

For those of us interested in business decisions and their consequences it was very interesting. If you are looking for jokes, humiliation, and conflict then you may have been disappointed, stick to BB.

I found that bit cringeworthy.

It didn't seem like something Raef would do in that situation. It was as if a crew member had strategically placed the costume nearby while Raef had no other option but to play up the camera.

I agree, the bearman had absolutely zero to do with the task other than it was the promotional costume provided by the company, but that just says they didn't have a clue either.

What the hell has a bear got to do with weddings? How does it entice dress purchases who are looking for adult elegance and style, attributes that are not associated with someone dressed in a bear costume?

Last night's was my favourite episode, but then I like to see people working together rather than ripping each other apart.

BTW, I have no interest in getting married, but I want one of those cakes with the elephants on the top.

I loved the coverage of Alpha. Esp the bit at the Spa and their praise in the boardroom - it doth fill me with a warm glow. Which, you know, is weird considering it's the Apprentice.

Not enough fireworks though really on the other team and I thought the boardroom was relatively dull compared to the rest of the episode. Seemed to be over so quickly and didn't make sense. Dodgy editing maybe.

I think that's EXACTLY what happened.

How stupid are the losing team? Coloured wedding dresses? They could only hope to capture a very small % of the market with that. Knew from the start that the top-end dresses would win.

And the cake??? Every cake I saw people tasting was a sponge cake. I have never been to a wedding and been given sponge cake in my life! The cup cake one was ridiculous.

I really wanted to see him fire two there.

I dunno, actually!

"We should wear moustaches and talk in Italian accents"

"We should dress in the local garb to blend in."

I bet he couldn't resist the bear costume. It was probably an act of heroism on his part to wait till the afternoon to put it on.

You didn't see Helene throwing dagger looks at Sara, then.

It worked for 'scary moment of the week'.

Really? I have been to numerous in the last few years and sponge cake was in the majority. I think people are bored of the fruit cake covered in marzipan and want to give people something that everyone can enjoy.

Oh and the reward for the winning team Do people really pay a load of money to stand it a room and shout and then sit in a room lit by candles??? I can do that at home - the shouting bit usually happens every week when SAS ignores the dick heads.
