The Lack Of Margaret and Nick this Week
Ambassador
15-05-2008
Last weeks episode was strong, ok mainly because one of the teams ballsed it up so badly that there'd be hope for anyone else...

I felt Nick and Magaret added to last weeks proceedings. For those who watched the original early US apprentice, Trump took a lot of notice of his 2 advisors, I'm sure SAS does but we don't see it. Last week and the week before we saw Nick and Margaret especially offer viewpoints (that were televised) and it added to it

Both were either quiet or harshly cut out this week...in favour of what exactly? More fillers? Cut scene of walking to some random place shot?

I found this week boring, its stupendously beyond belief that Michael is still there but the lack of M and N even further lowered the credentials of this weeks borefest

Maybe SAS had a strop as M&N were getting too popular and coming out with funny lines of their own!

Imho that's a s ridiculous thing to say.

I did miss Margaret and Nick's excellent input though and the show was all the poorer without their insightful comments.

I actually texted my daughter: "Where are Nick and Margaret"? No sign of them until 30 minutes into the programme.

I cannot get enough of Margaret and Nick. Even if it is just a glimpse of a disparaging look, it makes my viewing complete! Sr'Alan has a very small role in all of this. He comes in at the beginning and sets a task and he comes in at the end and fires someone.

I would like more input from Margaret and Nick. They are - imho - very nice, honourable people. Old school. They come from a time and a place where bu11shit was not tolerated and honesty and hard work were praised.

Did Maggy even say anything this week? All I can recall was her satisfied smirk when Lee said he was an expert at selling thongs.

As I recall, the contestants are not allowed to mention The Apprentice, Sir Alan, or anything else to do with the show during their tasks, and some excuse is usually made to cover the camera crew following them around.

If Nick and Margaret had been shadowing the teams like they normally do, they would probably have been recognised by the visitors to the wedding show. As such this would have given the game away. Therefore, I just assumed Nick and Margaret had to take a more 'back-seat' approach to obeserving the teams this week, and as such could not comment as much on the performances of the teams as they normally do.

But both were around, they were even talking to some of the people buying things

Nick was standing infront of the stand...I would have thought the numerous camera's around might be a hint too

Yep, they would have to be around to a certain extent or else there would be no point in them being there. The point I was making though was perhaps they weren't around as much to limit the chances of the game being given away, and as such weren't able to provide as comprehensive a summary for Sir Alan as they normally do.
