Just watched EastEnders and had to come on here and ask. Who played that 'dodgy geezer' at the end? I've definately seen him before but can't think where!

Makes a change to see someone make the move from The Bill to Eastenders. It's usually the other way around.

Yeah, most famously as Santini in the Bill, but also had a short spell in Bad Girls.

All these soap stars are interchangeable. I won't list any as we all know what's been going on over the past 2 years. It's to the annoyance of the broad spread of actors around the UK that these guys are switching from show to show and preventing others from getting a break. Jobbing rep actors used to count on occasional tv roles to supplement their income and get wider exposure. It's a bit like football where high salaries and foreign players prevent young players coming through.

Yes I remember he was shot in the bill just after his trial where he was let off. I think I remember him actually wanting to be shot though as he felt guilty about the annoying policewoman "Rosie" (the one who accused him of attempted rape) being killed in the bath.
She had to be the most annoying character in the bill ever!

Santini had that creepy way of calling her "Rosebud". They had been friends before he took it too far.
