Just saw Sir Alan outside Viglen

I went to drop my mum off at work
She works at pizza hut offices, it is in the same business park, called ventura park on oldparkbury lane, where viglen is also, there is also a large b&q thing there aswell... but viglen and pizza hut are the only companies i can name that you would have heard of... lol

viglen office is seen when the candidates exit after being fired with the automatic doors, as far as i know, only viglen and one other random company has automatic doors in the whole park

viglen is as you enter on your left, and when we entered we saw his car, we see his car a lot there, but we dont see him himself... so we saw his car

on the way out after dropping my mum, we saw him getting into his car, caught a glimpse of his driver and there was someone, presumably the viglen boss who he, either waved at or said bye to or something.. or acknowledged his presence..?

no idea what he was doing there today, but yeah he was there and i wanted to go and say hello my mum went into their offices once to say hi (and drop of my CV there lol) i dont think she asked anything about him or the apprentice, but i was refused a work experience there lol

They used to chuck up a hoarding next to Scruffy Murphys and film the fired candidates exiting AMS' office opposite Brentwood Station, but I have noticed this year that they seem to be using another office block for that segment of filming.

I am now confused. Sir Alan without Amstrad is like the Queen without Buckingham Palace?!

I think Viglens mr chief is that Bordan guy who does the interviews in Week 11 isn't it?

I've seen Sir Alans car in Brentwood outside Amstrad once. Thought I might see the smartly dressed door people too, however as if by magic they weren't there!!!

On 31 July 2007 it was announced that broadcaster BSkyB had agreed to buy Amstrad for about £125m. At the time of the takeover, Sugar commented that he wished to play a part in the business, saying: “I turn 60 this year and I have had 40 years of hustling in the business, but now I have to start thinking about my team of loyal staff, many of whom have been with me for many years.

Amstrad
Management Board

Sir Alan Sugar – Chairman and CEO
Alun Webber – Managing Director
Martin Bland – Finance Director
Roger Lambert – Engineering Director
John Beattie – Production Director

Might be owned by BSKYB but hes still in charge.

I wish you had gone and told him what an idiot he's making of himself in this Apprentice, I would have

My sister saw Alan Sugar in a resurtant the other day. In real life he looks just as he does on TV, and is short! Her friend told him 'Love the show sir alan!' haha!

LOL yeah, my partner used to work in Ventura Park last Summer (in the B&Q warehouse - just for some extra cash when we had our baby - he has his own business which we usually live off). There was a WWII bomb found down there and every building was evacuated one afternoon.

We never saw SAS though. I would so crazy fangirl him if I did.

sir alan doesn't work in viglen himself, he pops in from time to time.... that is if you meant that you didn't see sir alan during the evacuation?

About ten years ago, I saw Sir Alan on a Hammersmith and City line tube.

Just never spotted him in general. I know a bigshot like him wouldn't be based there at all times, hehe.

Thanks for finally revealing where the 'new' offices are though. I'd been wondering that for a while - whether they were brand new offices bought after Amstrad was sold or just one rented for filming. In reality, it's neither!
