Ok, I've spent a small fortune on a full HD tv, top of the range Onkyo AV processor, decent Wharfdale speakers and QED Silver Anniversay XT speaker cable, Blu-ray and HD-DVD players to give me a pretty decent home cinema setup ready for 7.1 surround movies. Problem? There doesn't seem to be any 7.1 films out there. Does anyone know if any studios plan to release Blu-ray (or HD) DVDs in 7.1 surround?

Recent releases by Lionsgate generally come with 7.1 PCM soundtracks.

3:10 at Yuma and War are two I know have 7.1.

Some DTS HD MA soundtracks will have 7.1 too, i.e. The Condemned, Hairspray and Rambo which is due to be released shortly.

The site here gives you some indication to what soundtracks accompany the movie. Just click on the title.

To add to the "The Golden Compass" also comes with an HD 7.1 surround track.

It's a pretty good one, too
