TV does not switch to Sky automatically on power up.
I've always switched on my tv then pressed the Sky+ button and got Sky. The last week or so, when I switch on the TV I get the AV1 setting for VCR. I need to press AV on my other remote to get Sky. Why has this changed as I have not changed kit?

check that the 'scart control' is set to 'on' in the Sky menu... also check the scart is securely in both the box and the tv..

I had the same problem but just amended the START UP option in the TV set up menu.

It could be because you have left the VCR turned on and the TV will default to the first AV input setting where it detects a signal.

That's the answer! Hardly ever use the VCR and forgot, many thanks.
