Feel free to discuss the presenters of BB Australia

Do you think Kyle and Jackie have done a good job so far of the live shows. I like their style but it's not the same without Gretel who was exciting to watch even so I have only seen 2 series from other series.

At least Mike, Fitzy and Bree has kept the old spark on Friday Night Live.

I can't tell if Kyle is being funny/serious or sarcastic. He keeps the same expression

Its different.
I love jackie and think she could do a great job in taking over from gretel who i really liked.
Kyle doesnt seem to be much use so far.

So glad bree and fitzy are still doing FNL.
I like the ex hms on BBBM : not to sure about the main hosts though, they remind me of a news anchor team.

To be honest I think it was a good idea to change from Gretel as it was obvious she was starting to dislike the show... however I'm not overly fond of Kyle and Jackie yet. The last eviction show was just too cringeworthy to form an appropriate idea of them though (which wasn't their fault).

As for the FNL hosts... not my cup of tea. Haven't watched Big Mouth yet and don't really plan to.

I am quite happy that Gretel isn't the host anymore. She clearly loved the show, but to me, she seemed to think it was 'Hers' and she treated the audience like they were in Romper Room.

Kyle says a lot of Politically Incorrect things, but to me, that beats Gretel any day! Gretel had gotten stale and formulaic.

I loved the Rene the Abattoir worker meet Jackie the Animal Rights Spokesperson moment... That was funny!!!

Otherwise, i think it was a very good move changing hosts. I am appreciating the new hosts very much compared to Gretel.

How about Davina tho, I used to LOVE her on your BB, but nowadays she seems to pick favorites and go so easy on housemates, but I can't seem to decide if it's because they are on her fav list or because they have the same agent as her.

I have no info to back up that last statement, i just can't figure out why she is no longer nailing the asshole HM's.. ok i'll name an example.... MIKEY... WTF?

I do very like Kyle and Jackie O, they'll get even better the more the series goes on...they way Jackie holds her mic still annoys me.

This is my first BB Aus so I can't compare to Gretel, but I absolutely love Kyle. He gets away with saying the things we are all thinking and I wish we could have a host like that over here. Davina = stale, boring and downright annoying

i dont like kyle, all i know from him is when he went into the house last yr and he was SHITE. LoL and now hes presenting. wat a tool.

Jackie O seems nice enough, but overshadowed and interuppted constantly by that jackass.

I miss gretal, shes like julie chen, like u know what to expect. shes more serious than davina which is cool.

i like the fnl team, but fnl is very dull as a programme. i download it, and skip and watch all 1hr 30 in about 15-20 mins haha. just the taljking segemnts and the winners bit at the end. alsothough last yrs reward room thing was more fun.

peple complained about last yr, but i really liked it and think it was better than this..

Story today is that the first Rudd Budget rated higher than Big Brother and that the show is almost certain to be cancelled next year.

However, it should be noted that it's getting roughly the same viewing figures as last year (about 10-20,000 less viewers but that's not really significant) and there are always rumours it is going to be cancelled.

I didn't bother watching at all last year and have watched a show here and there this year... I kinda don't hate it.

Although the Kyle and Jackie O seem really comfortable with their presenting I do think that Gretel is sadly missed, she was excellent at the job and really had a passion for the show, I miss her saying "its time to go... Its time to go _ _ _ _ _ _"

Maybe if the UK Big Brother changed their presenter the and re-vamp the show at the same time it would improve its ratings and give it a longer shelf life, who know? watch this space

Although I really like Kyle and Jackie O as presenters and think they are doing a brilliant job, I did prefer Gretel. They don't seem to have much control over the crowd like Gretel did and I also found her a lot funnier than Kyle and Jackie O. Well at least they're bringing "it's time to go" back. That's a start
I like the Big Mouth presenters as well as the guests. I think that is my favourite show this year and I love the team of Tony, Rebecca, Chrissie, Tim and Paul.
I like Bree on FNL. I think the other two try too hard with all the awful jokes. If they toned that down a bit I would probably like them more.

Have you seen him on Australian Idol? I've seen clips of Kyle being a judge and seems to be a bit more harsher than on BB.

Could he suit American Idol as he has a girlfreind over there or even our X Factor?

I have to say I have been trying so hard to give Kyle and Jackie a chance...but I just don't think they do a very good job, if I didn't know they have worked together before for a long time, I would have guessed they'd never even met before....and I don't know if it's them or the production but things just don't seem as slick this year, mistake after mistake after mistake, one of the things I always liked about BB Aus was that they always seemed in control of every thing - not so much this year

Can't warm to the Big Mouth presenters at all...especially the woman.

Still loving Bree, Fitzy and Mike though <3 (though again, the 'they dont seem as slick' comment stands for them also).

Kyle is slowly growing on me. At first I couldn't get my head round the complete lack of expression in his face, it seemed that he had had a total charisma bypass. I think I'm gradually beginning to 'get' him though, and as a result am warming to him. I like the way he's not freightened to take the piss out of the HM's, or anyone else for that matter.

As for Jackie, well she is just simply stunning isn't she. Comes across as a decent bird and quite good at her role, but quite honestly she could be hopeless and I'd still tune in to watch her. I'm mesmerised by how she holds that microphone

I don't know anything about the Big Mouth presenters, but they both seem o.k to me, I certainly don't have a problem with them. Quite like she show actually, it's nice to have the likes of Timmy and Chrissie there as examples of former housemates that are able to string a half decent sentence together. Defo think this show will be better value than the awful up late shows they've had in previous years.

I think they are terrible!
People think Davina is biased, but these two don't seem to say a single objective thing.

"Who's voting for Nanna?"
"We all love Terri"
"Everybody hates that thing anyway"
"I'm not happy with the bottom three. I don't want Travis to go at all!"

Aren't the presenters supposed to be impartial?

Just watched last nights Big Mouth and I thought it was fantastic. This show is getting better each week, as rather like the main sunday night show they seem to be learning from their mistakes (I'm enjoying that trend in this years BBOZ) by ditching the stupid guests like that bizarre woman last week who was appalled at Corey being in the house but could barely construct an argument to say why.

Loved that nathan guy (think they said he was from BB2), he was a funny dude and really raised the comedy stakes to a satisfying level. It was also very amusing seeing how little that bird presenter was able to contribute to any of the banter, they may as well have had a cardboard cutout of her for all the use she was, but I guess that in itself added to the comedy.

Credit where credit is due, this is the sort of programme I have been hoping for for quite some time, a solid mix of reasonably intelligent debate, plenty of humour and footage that is well beyond the boundaries of the daily show. Frankly, This show should be on more than once a week.

Nathan was on Big Brother 2 and is now a radio presenter on a popular radio station in Western Australia for their morning show. He's great on that too. One of the few to have made some sort of a career out of his time in the house (although there are at least a handful of others I can think of).

When Channel 7 were interested in taking over the programme, I looked on the forums at the time to see that Kate Richie (Sally from H&A) would have been a host to repalce Ms Killeen.

Kyle would be crucified by the PC brigade over here

The only one I can't stand is the woman from Big Mouth

I'm no fan of Rebecca either. I think Kyle and Jackie may have suited that show more than the main show if Gretel was still there.

I know Kyle is a controversial character, and I do like that he comes out with stuff that's just...not right....but he took it too far laying into Nathan like that, apart from the fact I personally think Nathan didn't do much wrong to deserve it, it totally influences the house and has an effect on people, Renee will probably fret about it something rotten now, wondering if Nate was 'dogging' her etc.

It was too much.

He was such a shit to nathan as well.

ALSO STOP GETTING THE HOUSEMATES NAMES WRONG U ****.

its so annoying when we watch the ACTUAL host constantly mess the names up and not be embarrassed about it. We want someone who cares to be in the presenting seat not just a random village fool. I hope he's fired soon. doubt it but we can at least hope..
