well, he may well be a complete tool but if he keeps laying into the HM's like he did on Sunday I'll defo keep watching. We can't worry about hurting these people's feelings, they're just fame hungry w*ankers at the end of the day and its fun to 'poke them with a stick' as it were. At the end of the day it is just entertainment, and I'll be disappointed if the makers of the show pander to the forumites like they did during BBhijack over here. The days of social experiment are long gone, it is pure entertainment and as such new things have to be tried to keep it interesting. For that reason I applaud Kyle Sandilands for his efforts on the last couple of Sunday shows.

The thing is it's not working. The ratings are still tanking. I think it's down 15% on last year. That should be sending a pretty clear message.

The reason Big Brother ratings are down globally is because the format is old and stale and (obsessive forum types aside) people will only watch the same thing for a certain amount of times. There is only one answer to this and that is to freshen it up and try new ideas and revamp the format, so that both contestants and viewer alike are kept on their toes with lots of surprises. there is nothing more dull and uninspiring than predictability.

The ratings may well be down, but do you think it is any worse than it would have been had BB8 been the same bullshit as BB6 & 7 ? I think we know the answer to that. The only hope for changing the trend of the ratings is to do exactly what they are doing with BB8. It may end up a ratings failure but I give them credit for identifying the problem at long last and at the very least trying to do something about it.

If Nathan deserved that in any way I might agree, if Kyle was speaking for the nation, finally snapping after months of a housemate driving the public mad, watching someone finally get what they deserve etc etc

But that was just random, it was nonsense, he was speaking his own view, it was uncalled for.

I am all up for the presenters being bias, having an opinion etc...but only when it makes any sort of sense for them to do so. If I wanna watch an angry old guy go into random rants that make no sense to any one other than him, well there's plenty of drunks like that down my local pub lol

For your information Kyle was in a bad mood that night due to the producers pulling the 'double eviction' at the last minute without informing them. I think it was sort of his way of getting back at them...

I hear that this Sunday Jackie O will host on her own while Kyle is doing Australian Idol auditions.

Was very suprised to see Mike Goldman taking Kyle's place on Sunday. He was really good at it. and Kyle was ill, not doing auditions.
