Hi everyone, I did a search before writing this thread to see if anyone had mentioned this before but searches are never conclusive (if you fail to put the correct words in etc.) so I am sorry if this is repeating.

Anyway I have a little problem in choice making and I would like to know other peoples opinions on a choice of two HDTVs:

LG 50PT85

and

SAMSUNG LE40M87BDX

I know they are different machines completely but I would just like some advice, I have got a Samsung 32" HD LCD TV so I tend to be a little bias towards Samsung (in the good way) so I would like anyone who Knows LG to put their points across, picture quality OK etc.?

Not a lot of replies eh?.....anyway, just noticed digibods thread. I'd have a word with him on LG, although that could be a one off rather than the norm.

Haha, I think I will go for the PS3 , yeah not many replies at the moment - I am guessing if you don't put a question mark in the thread you don't get an answer

And yeah I think I might take your advice on that and talk to Digibod - Although I bought the samsung last night - It was a case of iny meany miny mo and samsung won best of three

You've made the right choice. I don't know a great deal about the LG, but know from previous LG TV's that the Samsung will outshine them no end.
