Probably the worst effort I've heard from an actress- wannabe singer. Who told her she could sing? Listening to her is toture.

I beg to differ! I'm listening to her album 'Anywhere I Lay My Head’ at the moment and think it is staggeringly good.

It's a collection of Tom Waits covers, produced by Dave Sitek (from TV On The Radio), and features Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs on guitar and David Bowie on backing vocals.

The layered arrangements are stunning, and Scarlett's voice (which is certainly unique) is mesmerising. I can't recommend this record highly enough.

It's getting good reviews, too...

It's dreadful. Absolutely awful. She must be a disciple of the Ian Brown yelling-into-a-bucket method of 'singing'.

I suspect she's got a ton of cash behind her for greasing the media wheels though, cos R2 are constantly banging on about how great it is.

Really don't like the song or her voice. She should stick to acting.

That Youtube link song - the sound quality is bad, but her voice doesn't sound too good. Not really a very good song
