Making Commercials - will they ever not look amateur

Will they ever be able to pull off a commercial that doesn't look like a home video? I don't think so. Especially about tissues. I doubt they have the time or budget for some decent CGI either. Why have they set this rediculous task? It will probably be a disaster like last year, unless they have some serious help.

In the past some of the commercials haven't look that bad at all, but they have made the error of not focusing enough on the product. Also, given they have a fraction of the time and resources most commercials have I think you have to be realistic...

I like to see what they come up with. It is a hard task as not many know how to appeal to the public via adverts. It is a good task for team work and discussions. It shows which lot can work as a team to come up with valid ideas and follow them through. So I am looking forward to Wednesday

I think its more the concept then the actual outcome with the time Scale and Budget it is always going to be poor compared to a Actual Product Advert Campign.

I think part of these tasks is also about keeping your mind on the Product and Task in hand and not getting carried away, like so many other have in past tasks through all 3 Previous Series of the UK Apprentice.

Rachel, Series 1, Week 6 always comes back to mind with her crazy Sales Pitch that had Paul Torrisi as Team Leader wanting to commit sucide.

It will never be as good as the Amsair advert (series 2) with the 'very happy' Indian gentleman. Classic television.

That would be why. They want the candidates to fail and make fools of themselves. They think it is better TV than seeing them do well.
