also if we remember what was said on the VT about the girls week, on a sunday morning they meet with the musical director to go over their songs and he seems like he has the final say on it. also, from saturday night to sunday morning would they be able to think up a song?!

I think that is definitely the case. I doubt if Jodie chose her song. Both Jessie and Rachel may have not either.

Perhaps MrS has more integrity than some others at the Beeb
Also unless you are privy to all the conversations between all of the contestants and not just those with you and your 'sister' then you are really not best placed to comment either.
It seems that the Beeb are being economical with the truth again and thats something that adds fuel to the manipulation fire I am afraid.

There`s also posts on there stating Rachel has already been signed up to play Nancy
Maybe Mr Speilberg is really Sam's great aunt fanny pretending to be Jessie's sister to throw us off of the favouritism trail........... Just a thought

I was just assuming that as you think there's a conspiracy going on that you thought Jodie got a bad song to knock her out the competition. Your slightly touchy, I was wondering.
I think the overall standard of the Nancys is poor. Rachel does not have star quality, Jodie is adequate but a bit cabaret (and not in a good way), Jessie is awkward but can hold a tune and Sam is quite poppy and not really ready for musical theatre. Surely this is not the best of the talent out there?
No I dont think its the best of the talent...but they ticked all the boxes for Nancy.at audition.....
