Timer Settings - Volatile or non Volatile

Quick question.

Interested in the PVR80 sold by Big Pockets.

Are the program timer setting saved in flash when you remove power.

My wife has a habit of switching off the power at the wall for all our AV equipment last thing at night.

Can I programme my weeks recordings on a Sunday night whilst reading the Sunday TV supplement and will the unit retain these settings during these overnight power down phase?

I know it won't record during the day when there's no power applied!!

Bill.

Thanks for the quick response.

Any further comments before I take the plunge and gamble £40?

I've had a PVR80 over a year & had no problems with it & it is so simple to use.
Have you considered the SVP offer for the refurbished PVR160 @ about £57 (30 day no-quibble return & 1 year guarantee). I bought one about 2 weeks ago for the bedroom & so far working well.
