ITV really speak down to it's viewers. I have mentioned this before on X-Factor, but it is now SOO apparent it's verging on offensive. The format is really painting by numbers. Judges go to a city, by lunchtime the city is doing really badly, and the judges are really down by the lack of talent in said city. Then by some miracle a super talented person vows everyone. We then have a lull in the afternoon, picked up for the last act of the day, a horrendous sob story. I know I have no one to blame by myself for watching, but I enjoy the show, and wish ITV wouldn't insult me with this formulaic crap that no one should be taken in by.

You are right. We wait for the "formula" each show. Things are going badly...the judges despair....surely things can only get better...and miraculously they always do.

Unfortunately the production can't break free of this cr*p. It's really irritating....

I do wonder if people sit and watch and half way through the show go "ooh, the judges are really disappointed with Cardiff, I hope they find someone good there." It's nice to know ITV think their audience are a bunch of morons.
