I really wished they hadn’t made the judges say who their favorites were. At that point in the final it’s down to the public, not the judges, so how would it make Jodie and Jessie feel regardless of who won? In ADWD's final of Lee Mead vs. Keith Jack no one outspokenly said their favorite. You’d have to read between the lines to know they were all hoping for Lee. Even ALW just said both boys were different but amazingly talented performers. GN asked Jason Donovan the same question but Jason remained a fence-sitter.


What does Zoe Tyler say about Jodie? There was an audio interview but I can’t hear it here in America.

I was skeptical at first when I saw Jodie’s audition but her consistency impressed me. Just like HDYSAPLM and ADWD, on IDA there were candidates who could sing well but strained under the competition’s pressure. Jodie just got better and better. Like JB said, she toned down the cabaret and showed us different sides of Nancy: the more serious side, a maternal role with the Olivers, and she kept that bubbly humorous attitude which won me over.

Jodie has a lot to prove to ALW, CM, the public, and the critics but my instincts say she’ll stick to her guts and give them a helluva show. I’ve seen a lot of shows on Broadway and can say that if I was closer to the West End I’d definitely get a ticket to see Jodie as Nancy.

I was wondering what jodie fans think about jessie being engaged as an understudy to the role of Nancy.

Has that decision been finalised yet, or just rumoured? I think it makes sense, it'll give Jessie the experience she needs to improve her flaws and also allows her to have the time to study, without taking any limelight from Jodie.
