I would never say she is spoiled in a material sense as I know nothing of her background or financial circumstances.
I feel however that she may have been rather feted and overpraised by her parents which is a shame as she is very talented but a more balanced view of her own abilities would have served her better. So it is in this sense I think she may have been spoiled”
what kid isn't praised if not overly by their parents? (in normal circumstances) i was told how great i was too...it didn't make me fall to pieces if i didn't get a part or got knocked. that's what parents do! parents see you differently anyway, and are just genuinely proud...if they lie to kids that have NO talent like on Idol that is different. Jessie's talent is justified. i just don't see anything else you have said, i see no arrogance, and no hissy fits and fighting back when she is criticised, that is not being able to take it. she may look hurt, oh well, some people get hurt. i don't think it makes her spoiled.

She has to learn that "That was a bad performance" does not equal "You are a bad performer". Instead of getting offended and argumentative, she should just smile, nod and say, "I'll take that on board" - then keep it in mind for next week's performance.”
she only ever answered in a justification manner once and it was heart felt, she does not fight back and about her looking crushed, well you are just basically saying ver batim what BH said. it was a stupid comment in the first place. I saw her nodding to JB not looking crushed.

My daughter is a MT student and believe me she gets plenty of practice in both!!!!!
What worries me is that Jessie may be seduced by fame now and not take this option, instead go straight into the profession. There is a reason why the vast majority of MT perfromers go and train further!”
Well, now she would be able to get into a good school for starters.
I don't get this opinion by so many that she doesn't take direction. is anyone in her rehearsals to see if she is defying direction or fighting back??? didn't think so.
now, if it seems like she can't grasp direction that is a different thing than someone just not taking it because they do their own thing.
