Makes you wonder if the winner has to go through a crash course of some kind in the 6 months before the show starts.

Funnily enough I was thinking the same earlier.

How would some of them manage if the show was starting in the next month or so ?

Exactly - surely the show would be a flop?

They must put major support in place for the winner I reckon.

There is a reason that the previous 2 roles cast in this way have been to people who have had the training - they delivered reliable performances week on week, not just because they are talented (there are a lot of talented performers around) but also because of their training, which allowed them to deliver their best, while not worrying too much about things like the choreography etc.

Some people have interpreted my comments as anti-Jessie but they aren't. I just think she needs the benefits that more training would bring.

Sorry, it meant I love Jessie.
It's not totally topic related but I thought I'd add a bit of gaiety to the proceedings!

I'll second that

We'll have to make sure melvin doesn't catch us talking about the wrong thing

I didn't know which thread to put this in but ah wells.
As much as I love her and want her to win as I think she has the character of Nancy, I think Jessie is more of a musician than all round MT performer. I think she has bags of potential to see her as the latter and would love to see her improve but at the moment her main talent seems to be in the singing/music. She plays 3/4 instruments if I'm right all to grade 8 standard and has a lovely voice. I know it sounds kinda contradictory as I really do want Jessie to win this but it's just an observation that her strength lies more in the music side of things.

I agree with that as well. I think she'll have trouble finding work in the West End after Nancy because she isn't much of a dancer. Although maybe she's better at MT than we're giving her credit for...

There's probably not as much money in music though.
