Apologies if this has already been discussed! I've looked back and can't find a relevant thread.

How long before the show do you find out whether you've got tickets? I applied for this coming Sat (24th May) but as yet haven't heard anything. Has anybody else applied for this Sat and if so have they heard anything?

I was supposed to have had tickets for last saturdays show and on the Tuesday before they emailed and phoned me to tell me that they had had to cancel them. They have offered me tickets for the Final though, so I'm not too hacked off!

Well it's great you'll get to go to the final, Strikerdog! Although I can imagine that, in your case, you would have rather gone last or next Saturday...

Even worse than that, Chaperone, we had tickets to go the night that my nephew got put through, and didn't get in!!!! We had gone on ordinary tickets as the family tickets were otherwise allocated. Anyway, when it came to letting people into the studio - they stopped about 15 people from us!!!!! Because I'd had a nod about the Oliver being put through, I begged and pleaded with production but they weren't having any of it and we had to go home! Boo hoo! So this will be the third attempt - even my children have been - but not us!!!! Fingers crossed!!!!

So is it a case of even if you have tkts you won't necessarily get in??? Not that I've got tkts so not sure why i'm even asking.

Definitely - because they are free they over-issue them so that if people dont turn up they wont have any empty seats. Personally, I think it would be better for them to charge for them and at least you'd know that you were going to get in.
