I'll be watching John Motson's last live match tonight.

I have to say that I also listened to Motson's last ever live game for BBC TV. I thought he did a great job to be honest. A few small mistakes that I picked up on, but other than that, a professional commentary by him. Whether you like him or not, he is a bit of a legend where commentary is concerned. Apparently, he is getting at least twenty live games on 5 Live next season - mainly Monday night games I'd have thought.

Anyway, I know it's not really 'radio' as such, but good luck to him.

Following the loss of rights for BBC Radio Leeds, Eddie Gray has moved across to Yorkshire Radio to commentate on Leeds United next season. Thom Kirwin also steps up from touchline reporter to be the lead commentator, replacing the mediocre Michael Weadock.

Will Radio Leeds be covering Huddersfield and Bradford games next season?

5 Live Extra to do daily Tour de France coverage from Sunday which is a first for them I think.

I'd expect you'd get full match of them both every week now - one of FM and one on AM.

Not much use for those of us who listened to Leeds Utd commentary on Radio Leeds. I can't get Yorkshire Radio on DAB, even though I live in Yorkshire

I would also be interested to know. I last heard him as a very good cricket correspondent for Kent (on radio and for 'Wisden'). Before that, he was a regular football correspondent on LBC.
