No go on tell me. I can't be arsed to buy the DVD. I didn't like any of them enough to buy it.
Jon could be bossy on occasion but he was never a bully
On the other hand, they could bring out a 4 hour DVD solely composed of Steph and Cameron's bitching.

Jon on the other hand (bless him) was the truly ingenuous one in the house, because he misread the housemates and the public, and his own ability to turn things ”

This has to be the funniest pro-Jon post of the entire series. Well done ludovica.

err.. one off the top my head... in the 1960s reward room, bullying Cameron to give an opinion...
”

That was an argument. It wasn't bullying.

Considering the extent of previous bitching and nastiness from Cameron, it's fair play on Jon's part, and at least he had the balls to confront someone to their face.

Ditto Jon. Obviously. At least Ray has a rougish charm and a personality. Not something you can say about Jon. ”

I can't have been watching the part where Jon went on and on every other day about what it would be like on the outside and about fans etc, silly me. I suppose if you call losing your temper ever time you sniff alcohol and wanting to smash peoples (womens) faces in rougish charm, then yeah you're right ray definately has that. Can't agree on the 'personality' bit though.

Agreed. Jon is endearingly naive as well as smart.

Gos is indeed cunning as well as a mediocre waste of space, which makes him doubly vile as far as I'm concerned.
”

I would never describe Jon as 'endearingly naive' for a single moment, and I'm sure he wouldn't either.

If you were to say he was arrogant and seriously misguided in his belief that he could alter the result, you'd be nearer the truth.

Pointing in someone's face, forcing your view on them, making them squirm and feel embarassed... that's not bullying?

What do you think bullying is...punching someone in the face?

Verbal abuse causes more heartache than physical.

To be fair - he was ranting whilst pissed. I don't really know if that would qualify as bullying - as it was totally inept.

I suppose you could say his mind games on his return qualified as some kind of bullying - but he didn't really maintain a long campaign of them.

You mean you can't list even one thing to substantiate your claims?

The DVD will no doubt be edited in Cameron's favour too.

”

Like I said. Old ground. Kazzal has given you one if you really need an example. There were many more. The DVD may well be edited in Cam's favour but then he is the winner

Still doesn't follow ludovica. If Jon truly is the 'legend' that everyone seems to believe, you'd be expecting them to say 'great bloke' about him, instead we got the complete opposite.Dismissing them as 'thick b**tards' as has been said in this thread is probably wide off the mark. ”

So steph, cameron, gos and ray don't think he's a great bloke, wow there's an earth shattering piece of news. They are only reinforcing the views they had of him inside the house, all that "i've liked jon since he came back in" was a load of guff for the viewing public. They hated him early on (bitching and threats behind back) and have continued to hate him since. When steph hates someone, she hates them with a passion forever, just ask fed, she's never liked him for telling her to call him by his correct name on the first night, vindictive chipmunk.

As for being "thick", having watched and listened to them for 9 weeks, then yes they are thick as mince, with the exception of cameron, who is one clever and devious cookie.

Agreed Eurostar... agreed.

He is certainly not in anyway, shape or form endearing

Perhaps that is because I try to be objective? One of the things I liked most about Jon was his naked mistakenness about a lot of things.. It made him more realistic to me as a person. I don't think Jon is GOD I think he is a flawed, kind, generous, arrogant, tender human being.. who in being as appealing to some as unappealing to others, showed his whole character, not just the politically correct bits.. and therefore was the person i LEARNED to like most, because he was real, both good and bad

Cameron is a 32 yr old man with 3 people there to stand up for him, not a child, it amuses me that his fans are trying to pass this off as bullying, at least Jon didn't threaten to punch his face in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean like all the times he bitched about Cameron in the diary room on TV shows and with other HMs? Don't see much confrontation or balls there.

It's an argument and Jon was drunk.

Cameron, Ray and Steph bitched about others in the house whilst in full control of their faculties. Psychological bullying - which can cause far more heartache than either direct verbal or physical abuse - is far more insidious.

If Cameron can't take being challenged, then he shouldn't be dishing it out in the first place.

errr... yes he did! Why did all the Ticklemonster fans miss their vulcan leader's aggressive moments?

Has the tefal head brainwashed them all? If you met this man down the pub after 5 minutes talking to him you would walk away thinking he was a nutter and/or ****!

Oh and did I say I was a Cameron fan?

Yes. Jon bitched - but only as a direct result of their behaviour *towards him*.

Perhaps if you found out someone had been bitching about you behind your back, threatening to punch you in the face, defecate in your footwear and put harmful substances in your toiletries, you might just feel the same.

Bully - Noun - A person who is habitually cruel or overbearing, especially to smaller or weaker people.

One instance does not make Jon a bully. Cameron and the others were constantly belittling Jon - classic peer pressure bullying.

BTW accidentally saw 2 seconds of the programme (Cam doing the wide-eyed bit again) anyone got something to help my tummy?

Fair point. Just read like it was an avid Jon fan trying to turn his failure into some kind of act of genius. It would be nice if others shared your reasoning

He wasn't squirming from embarassment of the subject, he was squirming in the fact he couldn't say what he really wanted to say, that being F*** OFF jon before i smash your face down your throat, because he had to keep up his public persona of being the nice, caring, gentle christian.

The fact that you are defending Cameron alerts me to the likelyhood that you haven't discovered his dark side yet. Please enlighten me of a moment in which Jon threatened violence towards Cameron.
