I think Jodie will win. I think she's pretty deserving but I think Sam and Rachel are more deserving.

I think they all deserve to win and are all winners in their own right! What was it nearly 20,000 girls they have beaten to end up in the final 4!

I think that either Jodie or Rachel deserve to win. Not because they're older, but because they've been more consistent in the competition and they've demonstrated more of the full package needed for Nancy than the younger two. I also think there's a sense in which Rachel in particular has paid her dues and deserves a break ahead of the infants fresh from school.

However, I think that Sam or Jessie probably will win. Sam in particular seems to have the support of Andrew, the panel, and has come across as very likeable to the people at home.

While I like all of the final four, I think Sam might be the most disappointing winner in some ways. Physically, she's gorgeous for the role, but she would make the blandest Nancy. The big belt isn't particularly useful for the part and some of the richer alto voices (Keisha, Jodie, Jessie) would have added more. Her acting isn't brilliant, there are those that could have given more here too (Rachel).

The only unique thing Sam can offer the role is her youth. I'm sure there are lots of Sams at drama schools up and down the country, good voice, good mover. I'm sure lots of these girls are better actresses. Whereas with say Jessie or Jodie, you'd get a performer that you wouldn't have found in a drama school.

Kids coming from drama schools are very polished and Nancy should be rough round the edges. Jessie has a gorgeous voice and a lovely presence, but is very gauche and awkward, which would have been knocked out of her at drama school, but works well for this part. Jodie's huge personality suits the part too, but she would have been encouraged to tone that down.

I do really like Sam actually, but for this method of casting, I'm not sure she's my ideal winner.

I think Sam will win, I think Rachel deserve to win, she has been in a few sing offs, and taken all the dead behind the eyes crap, and came out the next week and gave it her all.

At this stage I think they all deserve to win. All have good voices and all could play Nancy.

I don't think anyone stands out as perfect for the role.

Jessie deserves to win because with the right coaching and the rough edges taken of she would be brill!!

the question was asked because you just know at the end there very will may be a headline
"did the right Nancy win" with all of the press surrounding this series.

this time, there were girls ousted when they should not have been, IMO and although I respect ALW and Cameron and would love love love to meet and or audition for them, man that would be a dream...anyway, I do think he got it wrong from our standpoint, but he knows what he wants for Cam, regardless of what the public thinks.

so that is why i do think there is a question of who deserves to win and who will win. even though the public vote for the final, he is making sure it will be between three that can do the role, and even then, i wonder about the votes just from rumours and their ability to change it if they see fit. maybe you can confirm this thing i read about fine print on the rules...i can't find it, but i did read about it.

having said that, absolutely, they all deserve to win, and there has to be only one big winner. but perhaps they could be Nancys in other shows as well and will go on. I think this is a great stepping stone for them and has been an audition for more than Oliver really.

I honestly now think any of these girls deserves to win - They have made final 4 and are all professionals now to a certain degree - I really dont mind who wins - my fav is gone now. All 4 girls have put in the work and tried so hard and what will be will be - no matter about public vote of opinion. My order of preference would probably be -

To Win My Way Now My Fav Out -

1. Sam
2. Jodie
3. Rachel
4. Jessie

Jessie has worked hard - merit mark.
Sam did Defying Gravity - merit mark.
Jodie - same as ever - no merit mark.

In the previous two shows the person who deserved to get the part becuase they were the best and most suited for the part did get win. Unfortunately this year that will not happen, infact it is the LEAST deserving person, in regards of talent and performance and suitability is going to win, Sam.
Maybe its becuase its not ALW's show that hes wanting the worst to win?

hmmm, do you think he would do that to a fellow producer/firend? I know he and David Ian fell out over Grease and the show in America, but I would hope this would not be the case for this show.

I wouldnt see ALW ruining his rep by giving a professional a duff winner......ALW is runing his rep all by himself..........lol

Deserves to win:

Jessie based on her singing ability and the ability to put across the songs well. I am totally indifferent to Jodie's voice and she can't move at all, am unconvinced by Rachel, and Sam's vocal abilities have to be seriously questioned by the public (because the judges don't see to be bothering).

Going to win:

Difficult to call. I don't think it will be Rachel because she doesn't seem to have the public vote and I suspect she will be next to drop out. Sam is going to get votes from any of the public swayed by the judges comments but I am not sure they are all so easily fooled. Jodie is going to get a lot of votes from those who like her 'ordinariness' (sorry, couldn't think of a better way of describing it) and have this idea of Nancy as a jolly buxom wench. Jessie is going to get the votes from those who can see her X factor.

If the choice between the last three is down to the public alone then it is going to be either Jodie or Jessie to win, and I suspect it will be Jodie. If ALW gets to choose the second finalist then I suspect Sam will get through, in which case whoever is the other finalist will win.
