why would you be a terrible candidate?

It is so easy to sit back and laugh at these eejits and their total lack of people skills and general common sense.

But when I think about it, I know i would be just as ridiculous onscreen if it was me.

My fatal flaw is that ANYTHING can sound like a good idea to me. Rory's dogwalker Rambo belt? Well, I can see how that might be useful for a lot of people, I never have enough pockets myself.

Singles Day Cards? Well, it's kind of ambitious but if it did take off it could be really huge.

A brand of tissues called Snot? Actually, I can see that working, young men buy tissues too and they are generally marketed in a very feminine, prissy, floral way. There might be a gap there...

Secret Signals? Even this, it took me at least ten minutes to decide it was a daft idea.

Save the Environment cards... well, ok. I did spot that this was stupid, but I admit that my initial reaction was that a card for Earth Day celebrating the beauty of nature might be a really nice thing to send.

Clearly, if I went on this show I would exit in shame and ignonimy after trying to defend to Sirallun why I had chosen to pitch Happy Aliens Day cards to Tesco.

What's your fatal flaw?

I think I'd be awful because I'd just keep talking , like Sara

Plus I think my presentations would be awful , much worse than Nargis'

Because if the sainted Sir Alan tried to talk down to me I'd tell the old fart what he could do with his job.

I'd be one of those who comes across as a whiney tit because no one listened to my ideas in a meeting (I think I'd get shouted down easily as I don't like confrontation :/) and then I'd snipe to camera about it.

I'd also suck in the boardroom and be gone the first week lol

Because some people think I am agressive when they first meet me (I'm not, I'm a pussycat)

I'd be terrible because I get embarrassed asking people for discounts - when my husband does it in a shop I have to walk away

I have never done sales either because it just doesn't interest me, pushing people to buy is also embarrassing!

... I'd get stroppy and argumentative with people I thought were stupid - me and Michael would have come to blows by now

Cause if any of these biatches shouted me down or weaselishly tried shifting the blame I'd punt them in the nuts.

I'd be a background person. Even if I thought the idea was terrible I'd be a suck up to the PM so we wouldn't fall out and I wouldn't get brought back to the boardroom.

Then around week 10 I'd get fired for never doing anything.

is what I'd be. A stroppy control freak to boot

I've worked for myself too long. I hate 'group' anything after 9 years in boarding school: I loathe flat -sharing for the same reason. Group bonding? Yuk.

But the biggest reason of all is that I would never, ever work for that loud mouthed, arrogant, barrow-boy of a bully Siralan. No sirrrreee!

Not for all the Green and Black's in Fortnums darling!

Now if Margaret was in charge - that's a whole other thing!

I know I really don't understand how people can ask for discounts in a shop.

1) I've got common sense.
2) I've worked for myself for too long.
3) I've had my time of dealing with immature children squabbling with each other and I don't want to go through it all again.
4) If somebody told me to ideate I'd have to leave the room due to laughing so much.
5) I don't want to deal with Sir Alan Sugar's property portfolio, thank you very much.

It's always worth a go if you are spending a large amount of money - all they can say is no. I've done it several times, even in John Lewis, and it usually works even if they just throw something in at no extra cost.

Once you work in sales you tend to loose all sense of shame

My OH regularly has to walk off if I start negotiating the price of something, even though it works quite a lot
