Is Jessie for the chop this week ?

Sadly, I think it's Rachel who's "for the chop" this week.

I'm still not convinved Sam is more popular than Jessie or Jodie. It really does depend on the performances. If Jessie pulls another 'Man That Got Away', and Jodie a 'Send in The Clowns' - esque performance then who's to say Sam won't be in the singoff? The only one who's a dead cert is Rachel, which is a pity because I loved her last week. Maybe I should stop picking someone who I want to win...

I really liked Jessie at the start and thought that's how I picture Nancy from the book. Slightly untidy and not stunningly beautiful. She still has those qualities but needs some polishing. With that she will go far in MT.

Heh. Well I certainly don't think Jessie will go this week, but I think there's a fair chance she'll at least be in the bottom two (basing that on the fact that with people I've spoken to in real life there seems to be quite a bit of cooling towards her). Jodie or Samantha could end up there... but if I had to predict now, I'd say we're looking at a Jessie and Rachel bottom two, with Rachel going.

I think she'll have a good week. With excellent comments. She'll be rehabilitated.

BUT Jodie won't end up bottom 2 due to public support.
Rachel will be bottom 2.
Sam? Dunno.

But Jessie could easily be bottom 2.
But not set up to fail. No, no.

It's quite exciting in a way this week. With three of the remaining contestants never having been in the bottom two - who will it be?

Didn't see last week's show - although by all accounts Jessie came in for some hefty criticism - apparently deserved. Hope she survives - I think she has the makings of Nancy.

For me, Jessie's movement isn't a problem. Nancy was a rough and tumble street girl. There were no ballet masters in her past either. Jessie's ungainliness is actually an asset.

She can act, her performance of The Man that Got Away proved that in spades. She needs a bit of work in terms of acting through speech, but she has the raw material and six months to perfect it.

I think Andrew has a lot invested in Jessie and he wants her in his final and I think she'll be saved against Rachel or Jodie. However, I think all of the girls have to be on top of their game in order to be safe on Saturday. The competition is at a critical stage. Although I like all four girls, I'd probably prefer to see Sam go than anyone else.

Jodie, Jessie and to a slightly lesser extent Rachel, have produced an absolutely show stopping performance at some stage in the competition. For me, Sam hasn't. So if they're all at their very best, she might be the obvious one to leave.

I think it will be Rachel and Jessie with Jessie to go.........he will keep with the safe pair of hands.........Im disappointed in Rachel as the pro.......I think she has under performed each week...........not many songs have gone by that she has not sung a duff note, out of tune......forgot dance steps.......for a pro. I cant see anyone accepting that, Im sure there are hundreds of average singer/dancer/actors who can sing in tune out there wondering why they are not there.........if this is the acceptable standard

Don't fret, Gold -- I posted in the wrong poll this week, flagging my favourite as my least fave!

Apols for the delay in replying. Football and the Apprentice last night -- a lethal combo, with the usual suspects squeezing through in both!

Love it! Sort of mistake you'd better not make on the phone vote on Saturday.

Got a hunch it will be Sam v Rachel in the sing off- which would mean SALW would have to lose one of his chosen ones.

Would be good to see Jodie win, she typifies Nancy- and it would make a nice change to see SALW get someone who is not necessarily his chosen one.

Jodie is brilliant- why can't he accept that

Im starting to have a nagging voice in my head that is wanting jodie to win but only because i couldnt bear the critics having a go at Jessie or sam. And jodie is actually good enough to win.

How can you say that tonight when you were choosing the wedding dress last night! Men are so fickle.
