You know Sir Alan Sugar was once a twenty five year old with a penis.

Him and Michael have an affinity that cannot be broken.

It was probably the hair that did for him in the end.

Apart from the fact that everybody hates him and talks about him all week - he is making water cooler television and Sir Alan is smart enough to know that money is made by viewing figures.

i disagree, in Michaels case I don't think he does inspire viewers to tune in. He has no charisma at all, and classic apprentice villains have charisma.

Everybody I know who watches the programme talks about how awful Michael is - yes, he is a charisma free zone but they watch to see what a fool he makes of himself and he invariably does every week. Just see how many anti Michael threads there are here tomorrow. That said, he surely can only have a week or at most two left now before he really does outstay his unwelcome.

Raef made more entertaining viewing that Michael ever did for me anyway

raef was a mix of intellect and clASS AND HUMOUR

AND NOTHING INTIMIDATES SIR ALAN MORE THAN A CANDIDATE WHO LOOKS, DRESSES AND TALKS BETTER THAN HIM

SIR ALAN HATED RAEF FROM THE START

WHY ARE WE ALL DELUDING OURSELVES

Raef was such a character. He is what you need in reality shows. Instead we are now stuck with smarpot Micheal.

Not sure if hate is the word I'd use, but I do think he was never going to hire him and was looking for an excuse to. With the best will in the world, his comments about Raef didn't stand up to scrutiny. Raef did bloody well the majority of the weeks. To say otherwise makes him (and Nick) look foolish.

Right you are. Not sure why a contestant on a reality show would make your bum feel hot But each to their own.

This Raef love fest makes me laugh...he was as full of it as Michael quite frankly, all hot air, pretend sophistication and very little else. OK, granted Michael is a thoroughly unpleasant and odious git but they're very similar in a lot of respects.

Raef has been flying under the radar for a number of weeks now and his number was going to be up sooner rather than later

I thought it was very enjoyable because Raef was on it, but there was a general air of dis-satisfaction about the outcome.

I actually find Michael a turn-off viewing wise. He's just irritating.

Now Raef was someone worth tuning in for!

I suppose that's because your opinion is not shared by the majority of FM's, which is fair enough, your entitled to your own POV. But my opinion is that there is a world of difference between Michael and Raef. Raef has delivered the goods in the tasks most weeks. Michael hasn't. It's not just that Raef is a good bloke, but he also has a certain amount of business acumen.

eta: Tre's coloumn, because it reinforces my point:

Quote:
“I've been quite harsh on Sir Alan lately because I feel he's made some bad decisions in the boardroom. I'm sad to say my opinion hasn't changed this week. It's true that Raef's leadership was disappointing, but surely by this stage contenders shouldn't be judged on their performance on any given week, but on the amalgam of task results over the series as a whole.

Raef's record over the period is generally good; he's certainly made a greater contribution than either Claire or Michael. Don't forget, he came up with the singles day concept that gave his team a win, bought the best bargain - the cowhide - in Marrakesh, and last week made the bold decision to get the all-important high-value wedding dresses; ultimately, that move led to the big prize. Oddly, none of that mattered this week.”
