Michael is odious, but I'd have to rate Jenny C as worse. Also, I had a look at Katie's apprentice blog on the Sun's site the other day and it suddenly all came back to me just how indescribably loathesome she was and is. I'd now rate her as worse than Michael too.

I wanted him in for entertainment value before tonight. Now I want him more than fired, I want him injured. He has cost me enjoyment for the rest of the series.

I SCORN YOU!

Surely he'll go next week?

Well, if he ain't gone this week, he must be immune.

I can't stand him either. He's odious. As is Jenny C.

When he was calling his potential customers "dum-dums" I wanted to smack him. A Patronising, ugly little sod. He was the dum-dum for not seeeing that while the dress (and lingerie) is clearly the bride's solo decision, the cake, being part of the food and drink, is a joint one, and as the wedding fair was likely to attract more brides with their friends than those with their grooms, the cake was a bad product choice.

I can't believe he didn't go last week. And I can't believe he didn't go this week. There's clearly something going on - the director's decision, perhaps? Why when he offered twice in a row to be project manager and Alan Sugar didn't take him up on that is beyond me.

He comes very close - at least others named gave us a laugh with their overconfidence and illusions, Michael just makes me want punch his smug face.

To me, Michael has now reached Omarosa-levels, and that's something I never expected anyone to accomplish.

I think Michael is very funny - I know a lot of people who watch the Apprentice to see what totally ridiculous things he is going to come out with or do next and he rarely disappoints. Anybody who provokes such a reaction - as Katie Hopkins did last year - is always going to stay longer than they deserve to. I think he will be there to the interview stage but no more.

Much as I disliked Katie Hopkins on the programme, it's unfair to suggest she stayed longer than she deserved to. On a professional level, she was far brighter and better IMO than the final two candidates. She had a better CV, stood her own ground in the interviews and was actually the first one offered a place in the final by Alan Sugar.

Fair enough. I worded that badly, I did mean that Katie made the programme must watch TV due to being so odious but she was obviously good at her job. I wouldn't have employed her though.

Katie Hopkins was MUCH MUCH more disliked than Michael IMO

Katie was disliked because she was so determined to succeed she would stop at nothing to get what she wanted - and usually did so was seen as ruthless and dangerous. Michael is disliked because he is a total pillock and waste of space with no redeeming qualities as far as we can tell apart from making the most appalling errors and blunders each week yet still seems to be able to use his get out of jail free card programme after programme as far more liked candidates fall by the wayside.

I am counting on the certainty that there must be a devious exit plan for him in store that will make us all cheer and whoop.

I don't like him because he doesn't seem to have any skills to back up his argogance. In the boardroom, he moans and lies, both very unappealing characteristics.

Throw in his whiney voice and it isn't a great package.

I can't comment on other series as I didn't watch, but I think Jenny C still has the edge over him in dislikeability as she had a streak of bullying viciousness which Michael as yet hasn't displayed.

it's staggering, isn't it?

If I was one of his past clients and was watching this, I would cringe and vomit at how he delights in being able to fake emotions and shows no respect for the people he's busllshitting. Then I'd want to have a long wash in a bath full of bleach.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for him to make it through to the interview round, where Sir A's trusted friends will absolutely rip him and his circus-flyer type CV to shreds!

Katie was far worse last series, but it may be matched if Michael gets as far as the final (which he may do.) If Jenny C got this far instead of Michael we'd all be crying far more.

Remember, though, SAS was just about to fire Michael last week. I think he has it coming unless he can do something spectacular.

As vile and as slimy as he is - Jenny was worst.

He is, however, the most incompetent candidate to have progressed so far….

Agreed - he's the most incompetent. Which is why it's hard to fathom why he's still there. Being odious often equals good telly, but he's stupid and whining and a real weasel of a man, as well as being rather unethical. He can't even get being Jewish right.

Agree completely. He is so slimy, like an oil slick!

Michael is cringeworthy, and more than a bit dim, but he definitely doesn't come across as a particularly nasty person, so I find it hard to rate him as "most dislikeable". OK, he'll have a go in the boardroom, but then, so do most of them - every year.

Compared to Jenny C, Alex, Helene and Lee (still can't get over how unnecessarily aggressive he was towards Sara), Michael is positively "Mr. Personality 2008"!
