If it were down to entertainment value, surely Raef would have been kept in, at least until the interview stage. Whatever you think of him, he's given us the bulk of the entertainment this series.

That's what I think. But it seems that Michael is being kept in despite his low performance in tasks and despite his dubious entertainment value. It's as though the producers have to have someone every year to be a fall guy - Year one was Paul, Year2 Sayed and year 3 Tre, but at least those three contributed in entertainment terms.
